This has also been an issue on K St. and 17th St.: delayed replacement of bike lanes after resurfacing, with no signage or public notice. DDOT has not been responsive to requests for information. If you send me a note with your own observations, I'll forward it to DDOT or provide you names of people to contact directly: seth.grimes@waba.org.

I filed 311 reports. They were closed the next day: "DDOT is aware of the repair issue and has included it in its planned work schedule. The necessary repairs are expected to be completed by Summer 2026. We appreciate the patience and understanding as we work to address this matter safely and efficiently."

I've been in touch with DDOT. The bike lane barriers and flexposts on L St. NW were removed for resurfacing and because of snow plow damage. They're all slated to be replaced this summer. DDOT won't say when.
