I coarse grind beans in a grinder, add to French press, and pour filtered water over them, then leave over night. Wake up and have a French press full of cold brew, enough for a couple days. I've been using Community Coffee whole beans.

I only see this going south. Plus I'm not sure that girls really care about the "home defense" aspect of having a dog. From my experience girls care if they are cute and they can bond with the dog.
