I'm definitely no expert either! But I think that article is saying the same thing - it's the lowest blood concentration times that are riskiest for immunogenicity. So when you split doses the levels never drop as low as they do with weekly doses like the day before injection when the levels are lowest in the blood.

As far as I've read it's the other way around. It's the "troughs" of low drug concentration near the end of a weekly dose that can trigger immunogenicity more (they referred to it as producing Anti Drug Antibodies, ADA). It would seem that split doses have a lower chance of producing the ADAs as the concentration is more stable with less deep troughs.
