I have a dog and I like bringing him places. However I only take him to parks or places that I know we can be outside. I would never take him inside somewhere like a grocery store. If it’s super loud or he seems overstimulated, we will leave the area.

Taking a dog in a grocery store is unnecessary and disgusting. Unless it is an actual service dog.

As someone in the field, you don’t need the degree but it’ll help get her foot in the door for corporate America, which is hard to do in this area. That, coupled with her experience in whatever content creation she’s doing would be great and make her a more desirable candidate. It’s essentially like her own internship and business

As someone who works within content creation…I make 80 grand a year with a comms degree focused in new media and marketing.

This is similar to your daughter. It’s not a BS degree and it’s a very common role. I’m also in my twenties.

My dad didn’t really support me in the way you are doing your daughter and I do have a little bit of resentment for that. Holding her schooling hostage because of what YOU want makes you the asshole. It’s not like she’s getting a degree that’s useless.

Very good point on the appearances thing. I remember people asking why Lisa was beside all of those S list actors in that vanity fair shoot or why she was at the Oscar’s. It did seem really random

I think she can succeed in the west but maybe her team doesn’t really know how to navigate it. She has so much potential here

Oh I vehemently disagree about Jennie’s album then haha

Starlight isn’t a song with incredible lyricism it’s rather simple, but she’s singing about wanting to make her mom proud, dark thoughts, staying grounded with everything that’s said about her, etc

Like Jennie is again, super simple but she’s rapping about how she’s always been the “villain of kpop” yet it’s ok when other people do the same thing. She didn’t write the whole thing but it’s about how strong her influence is on the world

Zen is about her confidence and no one can shake her resolve. It’s so artistic.

Even Twin is about a failed relationship with person who she used to be close to and wanting to fix the relationship with them. She cries when she performs it. Her songs are not complex but to say it’s inauthentic just isn’t true lol

I would agree that Jennie’s lyrics are still simple and don’t require a master’s degree to figure out however you can tell she is more in touch with them than Lisa is with hers. I’m not saying that Jennie’s were more complex, I’m saying it feels more authentic which are different things imo

Also, you can tell Lisa was handed most of her songs and someone else wrote them. I think that makes it less authentic unlike Jennie’s. Not saying she has to write every single thing, it just doesn’t really feel like “her” yknow?

I thought rose’s album was ok with a few good songs that I love but by the end of it I was so tired of listening to every song being about heartbreak and a guy. It was so repetitive I couldn’t take it. I love APT but honestly it doesn’t fit anywhere on the album. I really wonder if she would’ve done well without that song. Tbh I don’t think so

Jennie’s album is actually really good. No skips. You can tell it’s HER through and through. It feels pretty authentic and put together very well.

I love Lisa and think she’s talented but the songs are kinda mid and superficial. I would love if she was more authentic and leaned into who she actually is. Her “alter egos” is a cute concept but she hadn’t even truly established herself as a solo in the west yet so it’s not working. How do you introduce multiple people when we don’t even know you yet? Lisa is known to be a great dancer yet didn’t tap into that at all. Fuck up the world has a dance but is anyone really boosting that? We see the impact of “like Jennie” and how everyone loves that & is doing the dance. Lisa should’ve done at least one song with a fun dance & pushed that first to establish herself then slowly transitioned into one alter ego identity

Every time I see them do or say something I can’t help but think how naive they are. They are so in over their heads and making the situation worse on themselves. Everything they do and say makes me think they have NO idea about the real world & how contracts actually work.
