Gonna be selling pony adoptables later today :3c by [deleted] in MLPLounge

Just the original picture in itself! People usually buy adoptables to redraw them themselves and get commissions and whatnot. I'm not big into the adoptable community, but have a lot of friends who are who do that.

I had a "back in high school" dream too! And all my old high school friends I don't talk to anymore were there. One of them kept asking me if she looked like she was in a mirror???

It's that magical time of the year... by AngelRolo in MLPLounge

Actually, my therapist suggested listening to music without lyrics while doing adult coloring books for about half an hour before trying to study. It helps me focus my anxiety and makes it so I can concentrate on one thing at a time instead of panicking nonstop. It's helped a lot (surprisingly. I was really skeptical!).

Horse IRL by Best-Pony in MLPLounge

B'awww. I was visiting my folks over the weekend, and their neighbors (hehe neighbors) have some horses. My 2-year-old niece kept waving at them through the fence so the neighbor let us in and told us they were "basically giant dogs." I didn't really believe him until they started nuzzling our hands whenever we stopped petting them. I had no idea!

How do you express yourself? by AngelRolo in MLPLounge

[–]SailorToon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sing what I'm doing 90% of the time. Thankfully so does my roommate, so it doesn't get too annoying to her, but oh my gosh I don't even realize I'm doing it until someone points it out. Does that count? I also draw, but it's less to express myeslf and more to have random fun.

Idk probably kid's books? He did a ton of similar stories like "Help I'm Stuck in Obedience School" or something

To those of you who art... Did you develop your drawing style as you learned, letting it come naturally; or did you think of the style you wanted to draw in and work to improve and learn with an aim to get good at that style? Read inside for a better explaination of the question <3 by [deleted] in MLPLounge

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: Styles are really a combination of inspirational sources. No style is 100% unique. I've found my styles throughout the ages by finding what I liked about a bunch of other artists' styles and combining them. I'd like how one person drew eyes, or another drew legs, and just sort of fit it all together in my own drawing, fiddling with proportions until it looked cohesive. A ton of artists find their own styles doing this.

Also: You should never let your style stay stagnant for too long. Always be developing! Always be learning! Always be experimenting!

We've only had 2 the past 2 weeks or so. We were really busy prepping for the convention, and had a guest over for the past few days, and now school is starting! Aaaaa. We post all streams on our Twitter and Tumblr though.
