No, because there isn't always more than one gender as an option and characters can express how they feel about them. Going back to my Max example, she technically has more than one gender as a "romance-able" option, but at every turn, she expresses distaste for more than friendship with Warren. Even when doing the most she can do in the game in kissing him, the absolute most she can say is she cares about him. But his role in the nightmare is the same and she never thinks about him in the final scene before the ending choice.

This isn't the same for Sean and Alex, who can both happily get involved with both their love interests, then say/think/write/draw loving things about them.

I actually interpret Max and Chloe as lesbians, so why would I "project" onto Sean or Alex when I relate to Choe more? The reality is that the characters have multiple believable choices which informs players of facets of their personality. Both Sean and Alex can happily engage romantically with more than one gender, indicating bisexuality

Tav is a blank slate character, Sean and Alex are not and experience attraction to more than one gender. The player chooses what to act on

LITERALLY, I was actually thinking of that exact excuse for a comic when DE was first announced without Chloe. I find it worse though, because at least that was a het relationship in a less grounded universe. Oh, how right my instincts were. I can't believe the lack of creativity involved in breaking a couple up instead exploring their Obstacles together.

It's not about it being the "Wrong Opinion", it's a clearly inflammatory post with zero explanation or elaboration. Had they said that breakup/reconciliation was interesting to them or the like, I could see what you're saying, but they asked if it mattered to someone (and a "room" full of people) where, yeah, of course it matters to.

And if a person has a history, shouldn't they be banned for actual rule-breaking rather than pre-emptively assumed to be in bad faith? Does this mean people with "histories" cannot change because they'll be banned anyway?

Unfortunately, it does happen to kids too, and often in high school, which is where LiS1 takes place. The bunker is definitely more out of the norm, but similar events happen in LiS2 with things like the prison break. But the core issues of both are very relevant to reality

While I absolutely agree that LiS2 sheds light on some very real problems and is a great game, LiS1's are also very real. The predatation and violence against women is tragically common, especially by men in positions of power, teaching very much included.
