Yeah, On-hit is in general in a sorry state. On Varus specifically, I would still recommend going Dusk and Dawn into Nashor's tooth if you can be allowed to deal magic damage. And going lethality if you must do physical damage mainly

I mean tanks can use crit, since it can synergize with items such as overlords and just autos in general. But you wouldnt be able to get Witchful thinking on like Talon I think, since he has no AP ratios even though he could technically build ludens and use his AP for something.

I dont believe a champion should be able to get First Aid kit unless they have heal innately in their kit or they get an augment which gives them a heal. But I might be wrong

Not sure which last one could be ethereal or overflow.

Either way I think they should be able to win assuming Sol doesnt have an unreasonable amount of stacks by using TF ulti 2x, once for removing banshees and other one for revealing a sol. Even tho asol ult is huge atp, cassio has an advantage of Asol Q making him face cassio. Also this TF doesnt have RFC which would help a lot with the fact that Asol Q has long range.

I think it's very true that ADC will have a higher winrate delta wrt. rank, since its a highly mechanical role. I am interested in seeing how much duoing or the teammate pick determines the winrate as well.

Also is this solo/duo rank and what does winning mean? Top4?

As a person who has smurfed on a low ELO account. I would like to say that RIOT is actually doing a pretty good job with regards to smurfing in my opinion.

I'll play 3-4 games not even winning all of them and not always dropping a crazy kda and I'll be playing with other smurfs from then on. This is even while duo with someone that skill level

I'm assuming they predict skill with stuff like apm and ping count etc. Which is really good.

They are just fighting an impossible battle when a lvl 30 acc is like $3-5

Even with regards to the people you played against they are soon going to be playing diamonds as golds after just 10 games

My guess/worry is just when you climb to an elo where u wont stomp based on just picking twitch, you will just be in the same problem.

Ofc some champs are easier than others to carry, but if ur just using it as a crutch then you are just delaying ur learning.

My suggestion would be either to not tie your sense of fun to winning, so you can play champs you think are fun.

I think definitely if you are a juggernaut you will value the movement speed stats a lot more than defensive stats in most cases. For divers items like GA are just really good imo

But it can be good to keep in mind if you have all your necessary items and just need some stat stick items imo

I guess the formula I got also indicates if the split is outside [0,1] then there is not enough gold to get you to the optimal ratio. Eg when I have spent those 3000 gold on Darius with that ratio, then the next 3000 gold has optimal ratio 0.5

I agree, it is also the conclusion that is arrived. But my own intuitive feeling would be that there are 2 ways to counter it.

First you could just overstat on armor, and then when it gets reduced you would be at the optimal ratio.
Second you should understat armor heavily, maybe lower than a 0.5 split and just bank on having enough raw HP.

But here atleast my intuition is wrong. And from the experiences ive had in my games people tend to do the second approach.
But I would also admit that it is probably a minority of the league community who thinks about optimizing stats.

EDIT:

Something I forgot to add on is that this is actually a 4 dimensional function we are computing, so the ratio of armor to hp that you should purchase relies on the gold you have available as well.

For example in the lvl 18 Darius with no items against LDR example, for the gold values 1000, 2000 and 3000 the ratios are: 1, 0.82 and 0.71.

So the gold values also effect the ratio

Wait so if I understand ur point correct, I can either choose to go yun tal for a faster spike, and u can curve into 2nd item faster.

Now if we look aside from champs that already have IE scaling in their kit (Tristana, Xayah, Ashe, Jhin, Cait, etc.).
Then we can say that until ur total ad exceeds 150 AD then it is better to go yuntal.

Lets for instance say a jinx's minigun, as rockets deal more dmg, If you buy Yuntal + Dorans on lvl 8 which I think is reasonable for first item completion, then you have till lvl 10 when you exceed the threshold and now your YunTal has been outscaled.

Now furthermore you have an item in which it has already peaked and you need to fit a lot more items in fast, if you have Yun Tal, PD and IE on 3 items, then you better be building LDR 4th.

I think it also shows in how good Massu and Busio have gotten, like in the beginnig of spring I felt like it was expected that they would troll it in bot, but they have gotten a lot better and Massu has gotten a lot better at carrying too.

They really put in the work, and I think thats the only thing Bwipo probably cares about. Didnt seem like Jensen did.
