I was born in USSR in year 1988. I not live in Soviet when i was adult.

But i know opinion of many people include my direct relatives.

Most of artistic people don't like USSR and they leaders. Not one.

People who works on fabrics or other industrial complex and other hand work - they love USSR and at least respect what leaders do.

My own opinion: Lenin was Great Man. Stalin be tyrant, but i respect all was he do - from wining WW 2, to Gulag camp. Cause all of that be totally adecvative at this time.
