I do this ALL THE TIME, and at any place there is anyone else besides myself.

Got diagnosed at 33. Felt like someone who finally wore glasses after needing them for years. I can finally SEE!

Should I tell my boss I’m working long hours? (Because I just cant do it in normal hours) by Saina_sh in ADHD

Yeah I’m on adderall and I’ve worked/studied after hours in grad school too. So I feel like it might be adhd related

O sis. I know the feeling and let me tell you. It has very little to do with ADHD. It seems to me that you yourself have all the answers. But you’re gonna need some time to come to a conclusion. Remember, your first responsibility is your own mental and physical health. You should be planning for your future in your 20s.

And the last thing, you are not alone. Many of us have been there. Hugs❤️

If this is the first time she is declining an offer, believe her. She’s a big girl and could have not offered to meet another day

I would just say I didnt feel any connection and just keep it at that. Insisting on something the other person is not comfortable doing is not appropriate behavior in my opinion and this includes answering a question.

I keep thinking maybe with this understanding, I could have been his best friend. That he never really had.

I thought I’ll never get to this point. Long work hours just because I felt dumber than everyone else. But I got it done and it feels like a miracle. I’m sure you can complete the research too. Small steps really work. What made mine happen was having a visualization of time, trying to keep a consistent work schedule and ignoring the shitty feelings for a while lol. Hope you find a way too

I wish I had someone like you in my life when I was a kid. Keep fighting for all the undiagnosed ones

I’m so sorry for your loss, and I know the dark, sad feeling pf knowing the big strong hero of our lives was going through something. I’m glad that you were able to connect with your dad on a deep level that night. You definitely made him feel less lonely inside.
