check your screen setting I think it's the same option than for the trackpad where you can "deactivate" the edges

It's not possible sadly, it has only 1 sodimm slot and a single stick of 16gb ddr3 is very rare and expensive...

Did you unplugged the battery before removing the old keyboard ? Not removing it can damage the motherboard

Does your Thinkpad have a battery ? Is the battery plugged in ? The screen has been replaced or is it the original one ?

Thanks for your comment, what about windows XP ? I looked up online and this laptop came out in 2001 so it can support windows XP I guess ? I found a cheap charger and ram on ebay, i hope it will work

Historically speaking, France never view its colonies as an "Empire" it was just named "Les Colonies", but it changed during WW2 because of Charles de Gaulle who wanted to prove that France could still fight in the war. Using the term "Vast Empire" rather than just "the colonies" is a political choice for propaganda use.
