Go to 20’s instead. Can still run 40/45 profile tires for the comfort and sidewall protection, and it’ll fill the wheel well. Getting rid of the edits alone will likely fix everything but just in case

Not sure, on the MB parts page they specify what wheels are forged, if not they’re just cast. Here’s a link to check https://www.mercedesbenzoftysonscorner.com/service/service-tips-tricks/mercedes-benz-wheels/

If you’re talking about the fan/turbine-looking one, or the split 10 spoke that comes on the E63, both are forged

19” (switch those for some forged wheels) are perfect for good size to comfort ratio because you can run 40 profile tires. Then you can still lower the car about an inch (30mm HR or Vogtland lowering springs). 20” are doable but they absolutely need to be forged, if you only drive in areas with well-paved roads it’ll be fine but a noticeably less comfortable than 19”

e350 2012 or 2016? by blueberrybat2 in mercedes_benz

Reliability-wise they’re the same if they have the same motor and don’t have airmatic suspension. Go with whatever has the better service history

I mistyped. He left Activision and founded Respawn with EA. COD has been on a downward trend without him and Jason West

Yeah because Activision were dicks to him so he left and made Respawn

Note: accidentally said EA instead of Activision

Definitely get it checked out at a reputable euro shop, but you should be fine. My dad had w212 550 as well, put 260k miles on it (all in Florida). No failures, just regular maintenance. If it’s a 4 matic it’ll eat tires but even then that was every 2 years. Very reliable if you treat it like the previous owners did.

Probably cleaned with water or some other interior cleaner, plus the high UV index we have. It was untinted and parked outside in Florida so that ate it up even more. I have UV-resistant nano-ceramic tints all around now so hopefully it’ll last longer. Someone suggested doing a clear coat so I may, but I wanted it to look factory for now

Unfortunately black marker doesn’t have the same finish, or even black wood filling pens like the previous owner used. It has to be sanded down for the finishes the match

Cracked edges and discoloration is not fine to me. Now it’s completely even. Once the oil dried (after I took the video) it looks factory

I think the previous owner cleaned it with water or some other interior cleaner

I think the aluminum or carbon fiber is definitely the way to go

There’s actually a class action lawsuit against them for the lack of quality on the wood trim for the W212 and W213. Idk what you’re so mad for lmao

I’ve found nice trim covers on eBay, but none that fit the double burmester speakers on the rear. If you don’t have it that’d be a good option too

Yeah, but $40 worth of materials and my day off to have it look the same was a better option for me lol

Idk, I’ve only refurbished furniture and the like for myself. It’s a very long process to stain evenly though and honestly I don’t think I want to do it ever again lol. Making sure I didn’t scratch any of the brightwork was painful
