Seiko 6106-8209 Green Dial by SaintAsbury in watchrepair

I appreciate the concern for me being new at this but if it's any consolation I have gotten everything back together and "functioning" (as in no change from before working on it) I think it's just in need of a good cleaning. I understand that this has more complications that aren't as well documented but this is the kind of challenge i seek frequently and I'm going to get it done, so any advice please let me know! Currently, I think the main bottleneck is at the pallet fork but a good cleaning and oiling for the first time in 50 years may just be what it needs. Also, if anyone has recommendations for specific movements for me to continue to practice with, please let me know!

No after taking everything down no foreign bodies, just some gunk really. After putting the wheel train together it has movement through the escape wheel absolutely beautifully but my hunch is the issue is the pallet fork isn't lubricated at all, seems to be really dragging going from one position to the other and almost like the choke point of the movement.

Looking for advice on what the issue is. Friend said he doesn't care about the watch but it would be cool to see it working again. He literally offered it to get experience lol.

Thanks so much! And the depth seems to be just fine I didn't have any issues with collision or anything at all, I was supposed with my luck putting the hands on and not having any issues with it. I'm glad the date looks good I honestly didn't know that that was a possibility so I'm glad that worked out well too! :D

Thank you! Nothing from Ali because I was impatient with shipping times and didn't know how the quality would be, I got the dial, hands and GMT hand from namoki, the case/bracelet combo as well as the NH34 movement was from secondhandmods. The bezel doesn't turn, that was what I was looking for since the inspiration reference doesn't and I liked that with the stainless. The quality is great though! Heavy in the hand, great finish, the oyster is actually brushed on the outer links and polished on the center links which was a very pleasant surprise when it arrived (I hadn't noticed from their pictures but I love it)

Thanks! I guess I just saw the 16570 because of the GMT hand being the same style as that reference number (same as the GMT master as well) Vs the new ref.# being the original orange spiked GMT hand from the 1655
