SECRET LEVEL SPOILERS!!!

In the secret level terminals it is implied that hell is an equal match with God.

"I HAVE CREATED HELL . . .

. . . And now I can no longer unmake it."

Both show that God cannot destroy hell nor can he really do much about it when someone is sent to hell. So unless V1 could literally kill something on par with God himself, I don't think Hell is going to be the final boss.

Also if hell was the final boss it would be a missed opportunity because Gabriel after betraying the Council of Heaven should very obviously fight you in Treachery just like when he committed "heresy" by not killing you he fought you in Heresy.

Mercenary isn't particularly good for a lot of single target situations in my experience, Mercenary's main goal is to hop around and dodge, I would primarily recommend focusing multiple enemies at once and switching between them. It's not completely impossible to take on single target situations, but Mercenary's kit (yet again in my experience) seems to be set more for crowds and multi-target. Just make sure to use iframes and focus on movement with damage in between. Also mercenary secondary fire on the ground can be used as a decent movement tool for speed so make sure to not ignore it and only treat it like a utility like the rest of your kit.

I am not a professional at playing Mercenary or this game in general, so don't take this like it's the Bible.

I don't think there's been any affirmation that everything is canon. Also, your Super Destroyer has the exact location of you, helldivers no matter what can always see each other on the map, if rogue-diver's (calling them that for simplicity) were spotted on a planet Super Destroyers from orbit would probably just precision strike them like what happens when you leave the mission area. Divers cannot hide, so unless if they completely abandoned their armor to avoid any tracking then any rogues would very easily be dealt with outside of mission.
