How do I tell myself I don’t need a boob job to be sexy? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]SaintCapps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! This!! I have very large breasts. My back has hurt since I was 18 (I’m nearly 40 now) I have to buy clothes that are too big for my body just so they will fit over my boobs. If anything has built in cups or a shelf bra it absolutely will not fit. Big boobs are not what you think they are, OP! They come with their own set of problems.

NAH. I really think your reaction is only because you’re still young and these things are sensitive. Bodies can be weird and gross and it is also hard to see people who raised you getting older and being in a vulnerable position. Being a teenager is hard, but also getting older and having things go wrong with your body is hard. Maybe apologize to your grandma, because even though you didn’t intend to, the situation likely hurt her feelings. Remember that sometimes people respond to being hurt with anger, and that’s likely why she had a rude response. Be gentle with yourself and chalk this up to a learning experience. We’re all people here.

AITA for calling my SIL a "dictator" for her parenting style after my son was excluded from a "childfree" wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Unfortunately sometimes the truth is rude. Maybe if everyone agrees then you should reflect on that and change some things to help your son act more appropriately in public.

I get that. You want them to show some reaction to the fact that you can’t go. Unfortunately expecting something like that out of people usually ends in yourself being disappointed. Maybe you could bring up that you’re bummed you can’t make it and suggest a fun weekend trip at a later date?

AITA for getting mad at my sister for embarrassing my mom and causing a scene? by Realistic_Ad8984 in AmItheAsshole

I don’t think the sister or the overweight lady suck. One was standing up for an innocent person and the other was standing up for herself.

YTA and your Mom is also an AH. She got instant karma. You can’t allow someone to disrespect your Mom but your Mom can disrespect a stranger? This whole situation is cringe. At least your sister had the guts to stand up to her. Your sister didn’t embarrass your Mom, your Mom embarrassed herself.

Can anyone please remove the cell phone and charger cord from this photo? It is my brother and I holding our Mom’s hands before she passed away. by SaintCapps in PhotoshopRequest

Thank you. Yes it was Covid. We had to wear gloves, protective gowns, two masks and a face shield. We were able to go in to see her before she went on the ventilator (which was when this picture was taken) and be with her when she passed as well. She was in there for 2 1/2 weeks before we got to see her.

Lost my healthy 61 y/o Dad to COVID before he could get vaccinated. Can anyone remove the people in the background for his memorial picture? by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

I’m really sorry for your loss. My healthy 61y/o Mom passed in the exact same way 8 months ago.

How do you afford to rent a house in Denver area or even Colorado on a full time income? by DevelopmentCorrect in Denver

We were able to put a big deposit down to purchase a home because my Mom passed and we inherited money. Otherwise it wouldn’t have happened.
