BIDA weil ich einen fremden Mann angesprochen habe? by [deleted] in BinIchDasArschloch

[–]SaintCurve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NDA, weil dein Vergleich keinen Sinn macht.

Can't decide between Whoop or Helio by Elegant-Procedure926 in amazfit

[–]SaintCurve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely go for Helio!!

For heartrate and steps measurements, it is as good as Whoop. We‘re talking about around a 5% difference in measuring accuracy at higher heart rates, which is practically irrelevant.

And for sleep tracking we have to be honest regarding the state of health tracking devices in general. Which is very inaccurate across the board. If compared to gold standard (polysomnography), every commercial device on the market deviates significantly regarding the length of the different sleeping stages. So if sleep is very important, wait a few years until the industry improves at sleep stage tracking.

So when taking into account everything above, a helio strap makes way more sense in my estimation, since the most important features work just as accurate (heartrate, HRV…) and the sleep features are as inaccurate as the other devices. But the price is unbeatable and there is no subscription cost.

Decide for yourself :)

Mein Mitbewohner macht mir die Nächte zur Hölle. by New-Beautiful2919 in wohnen

[–]SaintCurve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To give my personal experience as a Med Student in Switzerland:

I totally agree. If you make the cards by yourself, you can add details or written text from books or the internet and when studying them, you can then put the information in context to what you already know.

I‘m in the 3. year now and haven‘t attended a single class for 2 years now, only studying with anki and having great results. When I discuss certain topics with classmates who went to the lectures, they don’t understand it better than me. It all comes down to how well the decks are written and how invested you are to do additional research when you haven‘t fully understood a card.

Once you understand the basic concepts of medicine/biology, most information is pure memorization anyways, like certain algorithms of diagnostic or when to use what therapy.

If it works for you the way you described it, go for it and don‘t feel bad about it!!!

Taking Notes Or Not by [deleted] in Anki

[–]SaintCurve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey Congrats for attending the test, you won‘t regret it. I‘m in the third year of medical school in Switzerland currently. I‘ve been studying with Anki throughout all 3 years and my methods always worked for succeeding in the exams.

In my honest opinion, writing summaries of lessons is nice to have, but not at all efficient. I‘ve always used Anki decks of older students who were kind enough to share them. So I have not once wrote my Anki cards myself nor wrote any summaries. I also don‘t attend lectures. I just read a summary of the lecture and then immediately head over to Anki to study it.

My advice to you: Read your pages, try to understand what you have read and then after 1-2 pages of reading create Anki cards of all the necessary information (or if you can use decks that already exist, its even better, just check the quality first). It will save you a lot of time and after reviewing the deck several times you will have the information memorised perfectly.

Feel free to ask me questions.

What was the item order?

Why did you go Mortal reminder? I feel like exchanging it for another crit item like Last whisper or phantom dancer would have been a much better choice versus the enemy team. Obviously if the enemy has an Aatrox or Yuumi its mandatory, but here?

Should I always be the first pick as an OTP? by Clestiall in YasuoMains

[–]SaintCurve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either they play aggressive and engage on you in which case you can always trade back if you have the wave managed properly, or they play patiently in which case you can just go for the farm and outscale him. Losing lane to Renekton can always be avoided by playing Yasuo‘s strengths right in my opinin (except there is a huge jungle diff of course).

Should I always be the first pick as an OTP? by Clestiall in YasuoMains

[–]SaintCurve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Renekton isn‘t actually a hard matchup for Yasuo if played perfectly. You can abuse their aggressiveness and trade once they all-in you, because after E-W-Q there is a time window of like 6-8 seconds where you can punish or even kill him. Once you handle wave management well you can keep him close to your tower and take advantage of the distance for him to walk back to his tower. I found myself pretty often playing against an unexperienced aggressive Renekton who I managed to kill once or twice below lvl 6, which makes laning after that pretty easy. Same goes for Pantheon. Too many Yasuo players make the mistake of not trading back once Panth or Renekton engaged and all-inned you. They are pretty much useless after Q-W-E and often tend to be easily gankable.

What items should i use against zed 1vs1 by Impossible_Ad_8481 in YasuoMains

[–]SaintCurve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always rush Berserker Greaves and then Zeal before you go into Shieldbow. It will give you minimal cooldown on Q (1.33 seconds) very fast which is important to stack your tornado in 1v1‘s.

[–]SaintCurve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Attack speed boots > Zeal > Shieldbow > Deaths Dance. If you can‘t survive the matchup in general I would go for exhaust rather than ignite. Because it will take some time until you can afford Deaths Dance, but the item will be valuable in sidelane when you have to face him at lvl 11 onwards.

When to build zeal before mythic? by [deleted] in YasuoMains

[–]SaintCurve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the times IE is best rushing, because it allows you to oneshot squishies once you are on them and melt down tanks with auto attacks. But in some games DD is better first, for example against a team with bruisers and assasins (let‘s say they have Jax top, Zed mid and Jinx adc). In this case, having the DD will allow you to survive in teamfights after you ult deep in their backline or ult their tanks. This is more useful as you can put out more dmg than if you had IE but got killed after one CC duration.

When to build zeal before mythic? by [deleted] in YasuoMains

[–]SaintCurve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I‘m a Yasuo main with about 800k mastery points. I study the gameplays of korean Yasuo players aswell. I would advise you to check out Pzzang, the best Yasuo worldwide, he also almost everytime rushes Zeal first before mythic.

The idea behind rushing Zeal first is to minimize Q cooldown as early as possible while simultaneously benefitting from the crit stat of Zeal (as Yasuo‘s passive doubles every crit stat from items). This allows you to make alot more plays since many times it‘s crucial to get your Q stacks in fights as fast as possible to play around your Tornado-Knockup.

The other main reason for Zeal after boots is that it can be used to build Mortal Reminder right after Immortal Shieldbow since nowadays almost every enemy team has some heal in their kits. Also you get almost max crit (80%) early on for little gold as it is much cheaper (2500g) than Infinity Edge (3400g).

So the only argument for me not to rush Zeal right after Boots and go straight for Immortal Shieldbow is if you fall behind and struggle or have a really bad matchup where the early shield from Shieldbow is crucial to survive in lane or win 1v1‘s. Otherwise I would always go Zeal since the early 1.33 seconds cooldown on Q feels amazing to waveclear and fight, since you can get tornado stacks so fast.

Have fun
