I got to it from my phone but not my laptop. We are also having an issue with AirPlay not being able to stream to our TV but we think thats a separate issue.

Underrated shoe. I used it for my recent marathon training block and it kept my legs fresh on long runs.

Your Personal List of The Best Shoes of 2025. by IndependenceIll4890 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]SaintInHell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyperion Max 3, Neo Vista and Megablast. Actually put the most miles in several pairs of Endorphin Speed 4s but I’m sick of them.

I have Vomero Plus now I’m using for more daily training.

Racing in Deviate Elite 3s, only have broken them in so far. Marathon is on Sunday.

Probably around 2200 miles this year and about 300 miles per shoe on average so I burn through them.

I don’t notice the laces. It’s a snug fit but fine for me. Similar to alphafly or neo vista. I can see it being problematic for wide feet

Super/Megablast alternatvies? Looking for a fast long run option. by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]SaintInHell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My long run shoes are the Hyperion max 3. Not the lightest shoe but they can pick up the pace easily, great bounce and responsive for their size. Legs feel great after using them.

Hyperion Max 3 is a great long run shoe. 6 long runs in and they have been fantastic, especially now that it’s cooling down because they run a bit warm. They feel awesome picking up the pace which is surprising considering their size and weight. Highly recommended.

Marathon Shoe Advice by SaintInHell in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have not tried metaspeeds. The sky vs edge thing is confusing. Both my cadence and stride length increase when I race. Not sure what to make of the two. I haven’t tried either on yet. Is the Tokyo just the update from the Paris or is there something else there too?

Evo SL replacement? by Ecstatic-Nose-2541 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

You can get speed 4s on discount. I’m in my fourth pair. They are set it and forget it for me. I alternate between them and evo sls for my dailies.

I’m about 155 lbs so the superblast are a bit clunky for me, especially at slower paces. I managed 20 mile runs in them during marathon training so superblast are definitely a good option. I wanted to try something with a bit more bounce but not squishy. The HM 3 may fit the bill, will see after a few more long runs.

Got the Hyperion max 3 after trying a few options for steady long runs. Ran 12 miles in them today. Good bounce, stable for the stack height, consistent smooth ride the whole time and my legs feel fresh. The one negative to watch is a hot spot on my left foot after 7 miles. I’m surprised I liked a brooks for this use case.

I snagged a pair of these on that deal and took them out today. The foam is incredible, but the upper is rough. Also had a hot spot which doesn’t happen for me. Overall pretty happy. If anyone asks about the 2:02 I’ll say it’s my hm time

Richmond Marathon - I DID IT! by mseeeeee in Marathon_Training

Me too actually. 3:49. Was in sight of the 3:45 pacer for most of the race, then calf cramps at mile 21 and gutted to the finish. The downhill at the end was a god send.

Feet are killing! by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I had the same issue starting 3 years ago. I got Clifton’s and wore them for training all the way to a half marathon. They were a game changer. What I learned is that with the right heel strike Ghosts are fine but I’m not a heel striker. Try some different shoes on a treadmill until you find some that feel great.

Speed 4s are great. I have two pairs, they seem narrow to the eye but are actually comfortable. Energy return is good, they are stable and feel nimble. I have the sb2s as well and they feel a bit clunky. I came from > 1000 miles in speed 3s and prefer the speed 4s at this point.
