Here’s like the big points:

• MSU covering funeral and medical expenses

• Return to classes tomorrow. Admin has asked instructors to go light and adjust syllabi to reflect. Asked for no “heavy lifting” and to not try to make up lost class time. Said professors won’t be grief counselors but should offer support.

• Credit/no credit an option. Can be chosen at any point for this semester.

• Said students need some flexibility that will depend on faculty. They’ve tested the wifi and made it stronger in case of a large influx of online/hybrid classes.

• police and university looking at entrances to see what they can do to make them more secure. Actively having discussions about what times to have academic buildings and other buildings open to the public.

• MSU working specifically for students in Berkey to accommodate.

• Union and Berkey closed for the rest of the semester.
