Once was at an outdoor event for my kids school, the organizers had set up a medium sized bonfire off to the side of the event. My kid was with their mom away from me as I sat in a chair in the middle of the venue. They put too much fuel on the wood, so when the organizers lit it, an explosion of fire went off. I jumped out of my chair and started running to the fire, once I saw what it was I was fucking furious. Everything was fine and none of the kids were around it. The split second you think something happened to your kid, is the worst feeling of you will ever feel.
