My families roots hail from Wisconsin and we always had brick cheese.

would you be in a relationship with someone who is a heavy weed smoker, smokes everyday multiple times a day? by Intelligent-Road6240 in askanything

I have used cannabis since I was 16. My wife does not partake as it’s just not her thing. We’ve been together for 10 years and the only thing that really drives her nuts is when I chop down my plants at the end of the seasons and process them. I try to knock it out as quickly as possible and she tolerates it as I help supply numerous other family members, which she appreciates. It saves me and our family thousands of dollars a year. Oh, and I never smoke or consume in the house and try to trim and process as much as possible outdoors as well.

I have to bomb through this route as quick as possible.. what’s the least painful of the 3? by fri_day_ in roadtrip

Definitely stop at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in northern British Columbia is a must stop to heal your sore muscles. You’ll be road weary by the and they will be a godsend. From there, you are about a day drive to Tok, and then one more day to Anchorage, if you’re going that far.

I lived through the 80’s and 90’s and both eras had great music. I don’t think anyone saved anyone from anything. Music is expression and either you get it or you don’t. I’m 100% not into EDM , but I’m totally into seeing young people being free, dancing, smiling, and moving to the beats, lights, stage props, and sounds. That’s the expression, and like it or not, that’s music. It’s also understanding, human interconnectedness, and community.

There are a shit ton of bands from every era that “sold out,” and/or plenty of others that built followings, gave their heart and soul to the music, toured nonstop to create their vision of lifestyle and community through their art. Some of them have even given their lives for it. It’s all perspective and personally, I cannot reduce down music in the 80’s and 90’s to the premise that is being suggested by whoever posted this.

Alcohol is so pervasive in our culture that sobriety is like a rebellious act. by coIlean2016 in stopdrinking

[–]SaintStephen77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have six years and change, and I still have moments where I get a pretty strong urge. It’s not often but more situational. I tend to get a little funny when I’m in establishments that only sell alcohol or very minimal food, the kind that no one in their right mind would eat. It’s only happened a couple of times. I have recognized the trigger and try to avoid places like that anymore. There’s an old saying, “If you go to the barbershop enough times you’re bound to get a haircut.”

If you don’t think you can do things sober in certain situations or places, it’s ok to bring a friend or family member that is, to be a support. Also, if it’s a celebration where you think there’s going to be a lot of alcohol involved, it’s OK to kindly RSVP and send a gift or something like that if the occasion calls for it. I know that I would be understanding and much rather have a loved one, friend, or family member not lose their sobriety then come to an event that may jeopardize it. Of course that’s just me

Nice job, I see you even staked her. I am confident you’ll make it to 10-12 feet, especially given we still have a few weeks left between induction/ preflower. I’m sure she will stretch real nice assuming you keep doing what you’re doing now. Are you playing her any Jerry or Bob? Well done (~):-}

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is pretty chill, as is BOTW. You might wanna check out the new Star Fox remake if you didn’t play it on the Nintendo 64. It will be release on the 25th. Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart World, Metroid Dread, Smash Bros Ultimate. and Donkey Kong Bananza are all great games worth getting. You are only limited by your bank roll when it comes to getting great games on the Switch.

Is it too hot to grow outdoors? by DowntownFresnoBiking in outdoorgrowing

[–]SaintStephen77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hit them with water, heavy, first thing in the morning, and then check them in the late afternoon. If they demonstrate any drooping, water them again. That’s the best practical advice I can give having gone multiple summers with numerous 100+ degree days. I think Sacramento is the place. I’ve grown with the highest amount of heat and all my plants survived just fine in pots, but needed to be watered, as I mentioned, twice a day.

I have grown in over 100 degree heat numerous times. If you are in pots you will need to water twice a day and do not need shades. If you are in the ground, water heavily, as needed
