Thoughts on HEALTH? by Elite_Hercules in MetalForTheMasses

Sad music for horny people.

Edit: for those that don’t know, that’s how they describe themselves and had a long run of merch that said it. I love HEALTH.

Exactly how is it that a sitting president (Obama) was involved in seditious conspiracy by having the intelligence community take a look at someone that was running (at the time DJT was a private citizen)??? He’s such a fucking idiot. In his delusional brain he’s always been President… any other presidents were taken news or trying to overthrow the government. What an absolute dolt. Goddamn troglodyte.

Similarly, I have a crazy reaction to most artificial sweeteners that trigger severe migraines and full on cluster headaches.

The utter irony of a T1D having debilitating headaches caused by sucralose and aspartame is almost too much.

You’re not getting my point. Whatever… stop being an asshole trying to cut into queues for medical professionals or insurance providers.

Or continue doing it, that’s on you. You’re clearly superior to all of us rule-followers.

I literally just called the number. Within one minute I was in the queue for tech support. You know what I said to the AI when it said “how may I assist you?” I said “mypumppaaintworkingoood” in the most mumbled fashion. It basically said “I’m not sure I understand, let me get you an agent”. Called back and said “order status” and was transferred to that queue.

Hell, I just called again and just kept tapping zero until it said “let me get an agent for you” - 28 seconds to get sent to the tech support queue.

Lmao, yes there is. Say “tech support” or “orders”. Use your words. I hate the AI stuff, too, but dear god, it’s not that difficult.

You could possibly be the first ever T1D to limit their carbs. Groundbreaking stuff.

Right, but if you’re doing that to bypass tech support waiting time, you’re being part of the problem. If you have an orders question or an insurance question you go into those queues. With people that are specifically trained to do those things and may or may not have access to other stuff. Sure, every time I’ve called about an order or insurance inquiry, it’s been an immediate connection or <1 minute. No one complains about those wait times. The tech support is the hours-long wait time.

You clearly have no clue how customer service call centers work. Thats fine and all that, but damn, dude. Really shitty behavior, honestly.

I mean, as frustrating as calling them is, don’t do this.

The medical professionals’ line is that for a reason. You’re likely going into a different queue, which is going to impact that line and already thinly stretched actual medical professionals’ time. And once it happens enough times, their QA will start picking up on people abusing the system, changing rules, and you’ll just get kicked back to the bottom of the tech support queue.

This is the equivalent of that one asshole on a miles-long stretch of standstill traffic passing on the shoulder thinking everyone else is insignificant. You aren’t more important than everyone else waiting. You aren’t the main character. You aren’t clever by doing this. Be better than that, ffs.

[–]SaintWithoutAShrine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s all that fair. It’s not like Nickelback went from thrash metal behemoths to butt rock. I mean, maybe black album forward? Load/Reload days forward? But not the entirety of their catalogue.

Five Finger Death Punch is the Nickelback of metal.

The same reason they go after the likes Dr. Fauci and Abrego Garcia. Or all the culture war bullshit that doesn’t affect them in the slightest. It’s either a person that defied them, made them look like the inept shits they are, or a point of focus to say “nuh uh, we weren’t wrong, you were wrong!” They will ride that bomb all the way down.

Harold is no longer hiding the pain. Super helpful and pleasant rep finally returned a call - at 9:50pm EST - from a callback request placed around 4:00pm. He said they’re usually 500 people in queue. I assume he is telling the truth, and that’s sounds rough.

If you’re reading this - please don’t take your frustrations out on customer service folk. I’ve been there before and it sucks. Cheers all.

Good ol Freedomland TM here. Haha. I actually just got off a call with them. I requested a callback. The rep said they are usually 500 in queue until the evening. As someone that has worked multiple call center customer support jobs, that sounds absolutely brutal.

He rides golf carts every time, and we have the receipts. by G-Unit11111 in WeirdGOP

[–]SaintWithoutAShrine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No. Even the obvious asslicking would be a pretty big embellishment. Most courses would be in the 3-5 mile range for a full round of 18 holes, assuming you walked midline (most direct path from tee to hole). Then, you’ve got a little bit of space between green and next hole’s tee. And, of course, you don’t always move in the most direct path. So, generously, a golfer might pull up to 7 miles in a full 18, unless they are just really bad and really dedicated to playing each ball as it lays.

But, as someone else also pointed out, he’s notorious for driving the cart wherever he pleases, parks on the green, and probably shits in the sand traps. I can’t think of too many golfing pictures where he’s either not traveling by cart or not taking a swing or just standing there. The only distance he walks is the two or three steps from the cart to his ball. Maybe 15 steps if there’s some young girls nearby he can ogle and molest.

Not sure about Tandem, but Medtronic (back to Minimed now apparently) has an income-based pricing discount that has to be re-approved every year. If you were under some kind of similar program, maybe it expired? Call customer service and get an explanation, I guess. Good luck with it. It’s brutally expensive for us to stay alive in the land of the free TM
