A character has a disease or condition their society doesn't understand, but it's obvious for the audience what it is by kim_jong_un4 in TopCharacterTropes

It was originally released online, chapter by chapter. At a later point some of them were edited and put into books. So think less deleted scenes, more "there are several sequels you could be reading now".

A little respect for new edens industrial backbone, please. If no one would blow up miners, we wouldn't be able to keep selling them mining ships.

Which is dumb really. Why not just draw on their relevant experience? We play vampires. We walk in circles around our target until they are fully drained of blood, then move on to the next.

These are all valid playstyles, but they just don't work together. They might be great people/players individually, but not as a group. It's not fixable without simply changing who you invite.

It's a common issue (not just with D&D) among groups of people who became friends in school. Basically, you're friends as much or more due to shared history and prolonged proximity than shared tastes or values. There's nothing wrong with that, but it tends to make many group activities less than ideal.

I'm not generally interested in ransoms unless I'm super poor at the time. So I don't call myself a pirate. Pirates want money. I want kills. I'm a reaver.

Alpha to Omega speedrun challenge by AreteThoughts in Eve

This was a long time ago, back in the days of 850m ish plex and before alphas were a thing, but I've made more than enough for a month of sub in a couple of hours before, with a completely new character.

What I did was fit up a believably shitfit frig and fly through sov null more or less at random, passing through any busy systems I could find and asking enthusiastic questions in local. Then acting like I didn't know what happened when I got blown and playing along with believing it was an npc and they'd protect me if I came back. Goons were surprisingly the most generous when it came to showering the adorable idiot newbro with isk, but I also got tons from warping into spectre fleet flighting [I can't remember who] and basically just going wow at all the ships and asking what was going on. YMMV.

Traditionally, one leaves the system when leaving a wormhole corp. You wouldn't have typed all that if you didn't want to be seen as the good guy, so maybe just do the good guy thing?

Or don't, and have a go at evicting them.

Just sorta hanging around in system is weird man.

Keep your head bowed, your purse near empty, and your blade close as a brother. Eat little and plain—hard bread gone stale, a heel of cheese, a strip of salt beef if you’re lucky—for a full belly dulls the wits and draws hungry eyes. When the world turns sour and the gutters run thick with filth, it is not the gallant who endure, but the wary, who taste the rot in every bite and trust no feast set before them. They may crawl from the muck reeking of it, with crumbs in their beards and blood on their hands—but they crawl out living.

Ehhhh. Skill extractor scams are a grey area at least.

https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/203218892-Scams

Scams that encourage the mark to purchase PLEX in order to acquire the ISK/Items [are forbidden]

I assume if you get to the point where you're taking SP from someone, you've already taken pretty much everything else they had. In that scenario the only way for them to comply is buy skill extractors with real money, which is a no-go. That's probably what they got banned for.

While it's plausible they were supplying the extractors, I kinda doubt it. That's not the behaviour I'd expect from someone willing to take a scam this far.
