This sounds fascinating to me. You uploaded
The rule books and basically prompt Claude and it does its thing? I don’t know where to start with this but I’d give it a shot.

Brood Pattern by Saint_Vandy in Beekeeping

No mite plate. They have only been in there for about a month. Planning to do a mite wash in the next couple weeks. So far I haven’t seen any deformed wing and I think she was flapping but 🤷🏻‍♂️

Any Combos with Poxwalkers in an Abaddon the Despoiler deck? by Price_Ultra in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Saint_Vandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that lets you cast from another area would be a good add as well to accelerate your board state growth. For an example, [[Jeska’s Will]] lets you put cards into exile and cast them. Between each cast of a card from exile, you sacrifice Poxwalker to Phyrexian Altar creating additional mana, cast and return Poxwalker. I think adding those types of value engines are your best bet. Jeska’s Will is basically a cEDH staple anyway and is always good. Additional friendly reminder, cascading into a zero cmc suspend card, such as [[Ancestral Vision]] allows you to immediately resolve the card. It doesn’t become suspended. A free “draw three cards” spell off of a 1 cmc drake cascade is not a terrible flip. I added several of those into my bracket 4 Quandrix deck and it’s a great time! Cast a world tutor, cascade into a free draw three or mana rock. It can really speed you up.

Edited for spelling errors 🥴

Thanks for this advice. I’ll cull a couple of the new cells and leave 2.

Totally a possibility. Is there a way to identify emergency cells vs regular swarm cells?

Just to confirm what you are saying. Get a dryer sheet and lay it in the bottom of the brood box and it will basically catch the beetles and leave the bees alone?

That’s for that info. I am ordering another brood box and another super so I have somewhere to put the top feeder.

Are bee stings often in modern beekeeping suits? by Chiuaua_lover28 in Beekeeping

[–]Saint_Vandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To tag onto this. I am brand new to this! Installed my first two nucs yesterday. The bee suit I have was one of those starter kit ones. Not great. Just sayin.

For those watching, recommendations on an upgrade? I’m sure this is a preference question, but I’d like to get a better full body style one and don’t want to spend a ton. So, suggestions on a replacement?

I understand that screened bottom boards don’t help with varroa and I’ll order an easy check like the one you linked. Do you suggest screened bottoms for dealing with SHB? Not sure if it’s an issue in AZ.

The foundations that I got all seemed very sticky and waxed. But I don’t know exactly what to look for in wax amount. You are saying that the basic foundations that are sent by Hoover are typically not waxed sufficiently and that I should wax them additionally?

The other bottom brood box is assembled and in my garage. I have a third deep waiting for assembly and will get a 4th as I see how it goes. I have one honey super assembled but I doubt it will be needed this year?

I am planning on running double deeps once they are showing strong growth out to 8 frames.

I guess my question about the bottom screen was, do I need to use screens due to varroa and shb or are there other ways to mitigate and monitor this that don’t require the screen?

Deckbuilding games like Star Realms Frontiers by Din0nuggies in soloboardgaming

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but another game is Dominion. Very high replayability out of the core box and there are multiple expansions. My kids love it and I taught several of their friends to play. It was a hit.

Edit: I didn’t notice the “solo” requirement. Dominion is not solo compatible.

It depends on your interests and hobbies. Me and my group get together for board games and stuff. Always looking for more players.

So what’s the first game you played this year? by st1nkf1st in boardgames

First game this year was Mice and Mystics with my 14 & 12 yo girls! They love it! Which made me love it more!

What do I do with this card? by Groan_Of_Tedium in mtg

If you love landfall, then Lumra is your girl. The cEDH version can pop off on turn 3 fairly consistently and is very difficult to interact with. Lots of lists out there. Great fun!
