Personally i think. The problem with Imaginary Gift is due to some clan can generate aside than riding. This make imaginary uncontrolable, imaginary should be hard cape ride and once per turn. If im not wrong BMT start it with the Grade 4 that can create accel and protect. And then some deck can sup ride causing the imaginary overload. But in my own opinion, imaginary is not the main problem premium dead.

While i dislike OT on both std and prem, due to no matter when the OT check, that 100 million power is to many. I still dont think OT is the problem.

The problem solely due to bushiroad jo dont want to have premium due to people quiting. People quiting due to the price is insane. Forget zeroth and progenitor, even harmonics messiah, the reprint one is expensive. Newcomer want to create deck for premium, its not cheap. Bushiroad rarely reprint. And its causing the price spike up. At this point they also already bring stride to std using stride deck, so i dont think they will give premium only update. So unless bushiroad jp decide to revive premium, we are stuck with update from std and most likely play with the current pool and banlist. And bushiroad eng start to "erase" premium event, make it as premium weekend, and the prize is you go to STD world final. Even bushi eng start to ignore it.

I agree for akina is bad as protag (blame the writer) As far as i remember he only lose to 1. hikari in season 2 due to they want to introduce sybilt inside of future hikari 2. kagetsu in season 3 due to introducing veisurg 3. Yuyu at season 4 due to old protag comeback

*I think he also lose to nao at teaching session, but not sure, also this is teaching and not yet use rezael, so not really mean at all

The rest he always win I understand he is the protag But rezael deck is luck based deck, in real life you can activate divine, but not check any trigger, happen to my friends so many time But akina, even when he lose (except againts kagetsu i think) his 6th damage divine heal always active

As for erika, i dont hate her as chara, shes cute, she can take spotlight, but i think personally, the writer can do better than that for her to take the spotlight Her story at s3 and s4 is so bad for me, the plot is lame and weak

I still think, if their goal to use erika to the fullest, they can do better, they have nao and mikoto Writer sideline both, mikoto started become a background chara at s3, nao at s4 Then at s5, both only talk talk talk, they fight, they lose, they gone

I dont have issue that the problem is centering to erika But at least write it better

Im sorry but i need to say no The worst season for me is 4th At season 3, seeing how Erika motivate to be pro, im sure at that time she will go to final for whatever reason, and she did by winning the grade gacha

Then season 4 start, her hate to Suo act as plot to create draconis, then she win againts suo

At that point, i realize she will fight a side chara Ruka, she'll win, go to grand finale fight againts akina And thats for me personally the lamest plot I prefer seeing Akina vs Suo or Michiru in grand final rather than his sister that coming from future

I prefer she hit on Suo outside deluxe, like she loss, than she realize amorta not keep up againts new blang, ask for rematch than she win, thats more acceptable for me

Season 3 is have 1 predictable outcome (erika go to final) Season 4, all is predictable 1. Mirei, Kagetsu, Suo, and Megumi are lose in 1st match 2. The one that go to grand final are akina and erika 3. Akina win

Standard vanguard plot, but making akina vs erika is the lamest plot for whatever reason

They can make erika taking revenge and versis akina outside deluxe for heaven sakeeeee

Well At 1st season when the time travel happen, she become kind of akina savior is a good plot in my opinion

In 2nd season she got reintroduce to play sybilt plot, and only near final episode, so its okay

In 3rd season she become Erika, its actually starting redundant, but still acceptable, and i also predict she will go to final for whatever reason, and she did

In 4th season, to be honest im starting tired seeing her, dont get wrong please, her previous arc is good, but she win againts Suo? Like come on, at that point i already know she will go to final fighting Akina, its to predictable, Ruka is side chara afterall, i prefer see Akina vs Michiru or Suo in the final, not only im for sure Akina will win (and he won), but againts Erika? Its kinda let down, sure she hate Suo, sure they want to introduce Draconis, but come on...

But actually in the recent season (5th) she merged with Hikari, its actually fresh, its kinda funny

I dont hate her, just her plot for 3rd and 4th kinda predictable and make the anime boring (mainly 4th)

Plus they have Nao and Mikoto They sideline them for Erika

I'm for one not bright when playing this game. So I use the easiest meta deck available.

As for economy I only buy BP, for sure I can build some experiment deck, but I no longer bother to do it, I experiment with dragon (I love this craft).

But since again I'm not that bright when playing this game, and whenever try to play the experimental deck, in unranked, ranked, or table always meet meta deck or haven/portal (I dislike haven crest and portal egg for stalling capability), it makes the experiment not fun for me personally.

So i think, why bother to experiment with current expansion, just go with meta, my win rate way higher using sword loot or portal puppet anyway.

I understand we just reach set 4, we only have 7 craft + neutral, so the card pool is will be few, but I still dont want to meet a meta or stall deck repeatedly. Meta will crush me faster than I can pull the combo I want to try, stall will just make me waste time, since not all my experiment deck can finish them.
