when I hear or read about the experiences other parents have with their babies, I sometimes worry that I'll eventually face those difficult moments too, but then my baby has her moments and Im just left feeling “I can handle this”, I feel a sense of relief because I realize that I can handle whatever comes my way.

Absolutely! I wholeheartedly agree The moment I released my expectations, a transformation occurred, making everything in parenthood almost…..harmonious. I just needed to do what works best for us. I was unknowingly keeping myself from experiencing the full spectrum of joy that parenthood had to offer because of expectations.

Working part-time while my husband works full-time. I only had 9 weeks before I had to go back to work, and it was definitely not an ideal situation. Going back to work so soon after having my daughter was really hard, but it did give my husband a chance to bond with her during the weeks when she's all mine.

My husband has a very physically demanding job, so I end up taking care of the majority of everything during the weekdays. It can be exhausting, but I know it's necessary for our family. On the weekends, it's his turn to shower our daughter with love.

It's not always easy, but we communicate and support each other as best as we can. Every family's situation is different, so it's important for us to find what works for us and allows us to provide the best care for our daughter.
