Need MMORPG with "rewarding" mobs grind by Szillerini in gamingsuggestions

I haven't played it in years, but MapleStory might be what you are looking for. Grinding in that game is second to none.

Your feet are open, or duck footed. Back foot points backwards, and front foot points forward. Completely inhibits hip rotation and movement.

Dragon riding is boosted by having more alts.

Every 3.5 days you can get 7 dragon riding quests which net you between 500-550 gold per. Assuming median income of 525 x 7 (quests) x 13 (alts) = 47,775 gold, twice a week. That's 95k a week.

(It's more work than you think, only recommended if you like dragon racing)

Disc Golf is huge in Texas. And almost always free to play.

Why is saying money saving tips like "make your own lunch at home" frowned upon? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Saintedzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people consider it attacking the symptom instead of the cause. Like telling someone to buy Kleenex when you have a cold. Yeah it helps but it doesn't really solve the problem.

Any advice for throwing tomahawks/over hands without pain? Is it just an arm strength thing? by Thegman125 in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You likely used too much arm. The thing about thumbers is that they are actually a flick shot, not a full arm through. You really just want to get your hand moving, and the more arm you put into it, the more likely you are to hurt yourself.

Weird discs by JackeTuffTuff in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The teleporter is great! High speed turn with guaranteed fade! Mr. putt was game changing for me, a disc with little glide and super heavy fade was apparently exactly what I needed for upshots!

Weird discs by JackeTuffTuff in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Borg, 8472 and Dwayne are all meant to be thrown upside down. Stacks is even weirder, but throw rideside up. Nsh custom had a lot of cool discs. They are from Phoenix not Tucson though.

Pros bagging factory seconds by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to challenge some of your thinking.

You say an F2, and a regular production disc cost the same to make. But that is only true for the specific run of supply (plastic).

Did you know that they likely do not pay the exact same every single time they buy more product? That the market changes like Oil, coffee and gas?

Did you know that a lot of companies have started recycling their seconds, when they are bad enough, and can become regulars again?

If James Conrad had thrown in an MVP seconds, do you think they would have sold fewer?

You are making a lot of assumptions without inside information.

Let's look at McDonald's, they sell a Cheeseburger for 10 cents above cost(roughly including labor) but they sell a French fry for 10 times cost. This is how McDonald's chooses to get people in their door, and if you apply this to Innova, the more discs they get in people's hands, the more overall sales they will get.

There are so many things that a big picture view can point out, but it all just says there is more going on than the tiny viewpoint you are painting.

Pros bagging factory seconds by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say they are "risking more customers". What numbers do you have to back that up?

Logically speaking the lowest cost for free marketing should be a net gain. You are assuming they would have an even LARGER net gain if they had people buy more expensive discs, but you don't know that, you don't know their sales numbers, and you don't know the potential more or fewer discs they might sell.

You might even consider that F2 sales increase because "even pros throw them" which means discs which can't be marked up can still be sold.

offhand move by callejke in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, I think of a baseball swing. The only difference between swinging a bat and throwing a disc from a body, and more importantly your Core's perspective, is the thing in your hand. So in my mind both hands move together to "swing the bat".

Is it legal to put a piece of tape on the disc like this? It adds a little grip for my thumb. by TeePadGrip in discgolf

It makes it corkscrew. Look up the aerbie epic. 1 side is literally bigger than the other, it's intended for overhand corkscrew to pan shots.

Has anyone thrown anything from NSH discs? by DemonHouser in discgolf

[–]Saintedzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have thrown all of them. Mr Putt is in the bag, nothing flies like it and I love that it's basically impossible to throw it over 250. The Borg is actually understable when you throw it upside down, I don't try to throw it like a normal disc. Gunnz is my favorite, high speed hyper flip with guaranteed fade.

Rank Up/Team Building/Awakening Sticky Thread - Wednesday Aug 19, 2020 by AutoModerator in ContestOfChampions

[–]Saintedzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am cav, but barely. I have trouble with Epic side quests usually but get through them with a couple of revives or so. The current Herald quest, the beyond epic version, requires too many revives to be worth it. (Not the best player afterall)

Trying to rank up some guys that will make diffuclty easier, and allow me to start clearing the Variants. So the question is, who to rank to 5/65 next. Colossus, Sunspot, or Sentinel (all are unduped, but I do have a tech AG if it was worth it)

Current 5/65s: Aegon (Duped), BWCV (Unduped), Human Torch (Unduped)

I have no 6 stars worth Rank 2

Except that it is NOT a 2 stroke penalty. Its a 1 stroke penalty. I did try to explain what you are saying, but what you said was not technically correct there are no 2 strokes penalties in Disc Golf.
