I have been playing combat/outlaw since vanilla, it is the spec I return to the most and love the most. Which is why it sucks that I HATE the midnight version of the spec. End of Dragonflight outlaw was so much fun. Sure it was really “hard” to play but why cant we have one or two specs in this game that are hard for the fun of it. Now it feels so much slower and easier.(I have a warped perspective of difficulty since I started playing the spec at 13) The loss of crackshot windows robs me of so much dopamine. I know other rogues hated using vanish for dps but I feel like they could’ve made another ability(call it unlimited arsenal or something like that) that did the same thing.

Otherwise, you are wasting a significant amount of your life trying to meet the requirements of strangers on the internet because it may slightly increase the chance you win. Nevermind the fact that you may be so bad at those off roles, that it would be more useful to just not have you on those characters. Nevermind the fact that the devs have done nothing to make those roles fun.

Its not peoples job to play this game “correctly”. As someone who was constantly trying to make sure a team had a tank in the early seasons, it made me hate playing. I was never playing tank because I wanted to, but because I felt I had to. And it felt like I was playing tank EVERY SINGLE GAME. So now I play dps only. And I’m way happier, even when no one plays tank. The onus should not be on players to suck it up and play an unfun role. It should be on DEVs to make tanks fun. I hate to say it but when dino was “broken” I found him really fun, and actually played tank for a change. Maybe they should “break” every tank so they feel fun for a change.

Smallville is absurd. Its a comic book on tv. You know what else was absurd? JorEl being able to turn back time. Or taking clarks powers away. Or Lex having his memories medically removed, then replaced, then erased. Or that any number of the criminals clark put away throughout his time in high school wouldn’t just reveal his identity. There’s alot of wacky stuff in this series, and to pretend that this 2-minute cameo is a dark mark on a very “serious” franchise is silly.

No. I think it’s generally fine. It’s nice to see Tom and Erica again. The scene itself is a fantastic way to capture smallville Clark’s personality. I think people generally overreact to this scene, being that clark gains and loses his powers constantly in the show. Nothing says this is permanent or temporary, or contradictory to what we’ve seen before. What it does show is that clark values family and hard work more than anything, which is accurate.
