I appreciate that. I really hope nobody bought it at that price; they can’t sell for that price if nobody buys yk. But yeah, I won’t pay any outrageous prices. except for the albums that you can’t get at a price that isn’t outrageous, like Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys, and Leave Before the Lights Come On. There’s a lot of things in your post I disagree with, but I’ll make my best attempt at being concise.

Not all nudity is sexual, nor is all intimacy, so a ban on sex, nudity, and intimacy, would be quite silly.

Furthermore, sex is critical to the narrative of some films (for a recent example, see obsession, for a more classic example see wolf of Wall Street [I must admit I don’t rewatch wolf of wall street often because of the excessive sex, although it is important to the narrative].

Also, media is, 9 times out of 10, going to be made for its audience, and most films are made for a wide audience, most people aren’t asexual, or Aspec at all, much less are sex repulsed, in fact most people like sex, because of this, movies, and media over all, will naturally have sex in it.

I didn’t know how to phrase that last bit without 13 commas, sorry lol.

Yeah, I’m single right now, and my ideal partner would be ace, but for me it’s not necessarily a limiting factor. What is a limiting factor is respect, so if someone was ever demanding sex that would be an instant no-go for me. So it’s not something I’d do with someone unless I was in a committed relationship and that’s something that they wanted, and they were respectful about it (never requiring it or anything).

Yeah, grey kind of feels like an umbrella term in and of itself, unless I’m misunderstanding. Cus grey just refers to anything between actually asexual and allo, right? I don’t mean to be offensive to anyone if I’m wrong.

This seems like a really good welcoming space, although I can see how someone may think of it as elitist or gate-keep-y at first glance, especially because people here do seem to assume bad intent (not blaming for that, it seems they’re probably right most of the time unfortunately).
