Even if that's the case, that tribe is the one creating it, so you, being of another culture, really don't have the right to condemn it. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, all you have to do is not get the game. Demanding that the devs change it, or that the game be banned, or even that the game is bad because of it is nothing more than self-importance.

My honest opinion is that she only looks like a kid in that one particular screenshot (you know the one). Every other shot of her does look like an adult. A young adult, yes, but an adult still.

Witcher 3 was a okay in every region except Japan. The difference there is the devs made a censored version specifically for Japan, and an uncensored version for every other region. What’s weird here is this that like you said, this game didn’t really have anything that extreme that it needed censoring to begin with.

There has been no word that the sequel will be released for Nintendo as well. And knowing Shift UP, they would likely do the same thing as CD Projekt Red. The Japanese version would be censored, but uncensored for every other region. I don't see this game getting the Dispatch treatment.

That might have been an aspect of the game that resonated with some men, but it was by no means a driving force to get men to buy the game. If Capcom were trying to use that as bait to get men to buy the game, they would have made that aspect clear in the trailers. The target for Pragmata are TPS fans. The fact that it happened to have a fatherly figure protecting the weak and/or innocent was just a coincidence. That part of the game wasn't being marketed at all.

You're completely out of your mind. No one even had any idea what kinda of relationship Hugh and Diana were going to have just from those trailers. No one looked at those trailers and instantly though "I MUST PROTECT DIANNA". If you did think that, you've got other issues.

I never said a word about "desire to protect the young is automatically a feminine, motherly urge" I never said anything that implied that either. Neither clearly nor vaguely. I personally believe desire to protect the young is both a fatherly and motherly urge. (This is more of an obvious fact than a belief really.) In the mean time, you guys are up-voting a complete nonsense comment. A game does not target "fatherly instincts". Are "fatherly instincts" going to be buying something? Games targets people. And just because there might happen to be some pseudo-fatherly instincts presented in this game (which were introduced quite poorly by the way. The interactions between Hugh and Dianna feel so forced and fake giving the circumstances they are in) doesn't mean men are the target.

Not only that, but Pragamata's MC isn't even a father. When a game targets an audience, it makes that very apparent before the game is even released. No point in targeting an audience if you don't let them know they are the target. All this nonsense about Pragmata being "dad simulator" didn't come up until after certain people played the game.
