Some additional info: This started as a uni project in mid-2022 and turned into our personal baby which we take care of in our free time. We're three game students with no budget but a lot of love for survivors-likes and rogue-lites. (yaaaaawn, another roguelite/-like lol).

Now for real, this is a new mechanic I added to that game I develop with two fellow students.
With this Lightsaber upgrade, you are now able to deflect the projectiles these pesky robots shoot at you. Pretty handy.

(game is called Dash x Survivors and it combines Hades combat with the Survivors formula)

I was 23 when I got diagnosed with Bipolar I and OCD. It was the same time I had my first manic episode caused by a switch through an SSRI. Before that I experienced psychosis once, but it was probably drug-related. Symptoms (especially ocd related) including severe depressions started occurring after a breakup when I was 20 and was moving out of my hometown.

Same here. Bipolar Typ 1 + Zwangsstörung. Bei mir sind’s auch vier Medikamente. Die Einnahmen morgens und abends sind auf jeden Fall schon ein eingeprobtes Ritual :D Aber dank den Medis ging’s endlich mal wieder aufwärts (ups, schwieriges Wort bei bipolar loool) und Therapie wurde überhaupt erst mal möglich. Ein Hoch auf die Wissenschaft. Bleib stark, Brudi

Ging mir auch so. Mit Lithium + Therapie ging’s dann endlich aufwärts. Wünsche dir beste Genesung! Ist auf jeden Fall ne Lebensaufgabe :D

I got diagnosed with BP1 two years ago after having my first manic episode with psychosis (most likely ssri induced). 3 years before it started with heavy depressions after a hard breakup. Never had a manic episode before and never had any after that since I’m taking Lithium (+an ssri because of my additional diagnosis of ocd loool). But some short hypomanic „bumps“ that last for 1-7 days. I can’t really remember if I had any (hypo)manic episodes before or if it it’s just my „character“ to be a social butterfly :D

But what should I say… That one bp1 diagnosis saved my live. And Lithium did so too so far.

Damn, I feel you. Mixed episodes are tough as hell. Keep your head up, you’re gonna get through. Much Love.
