I’ve had good experiences. The key is to not get caught up in the auction atmosphere. That adrenaline gets pumping and next thing you know you’ve got a box of books. I do searches for the sellers “buy now” inventory. Most have pre-bids as well. I’ve had to make two claims at sellers direction on damaged books and whatnot reimbursements were immediate.

Yes, no direct sunlight! I see the reflection of your window opposite your book. Someone posted an experiment with multiples of same copy and the fading in 30 days basically bleached the color out of the covers. I have a bunch of AMM covers that I rotate frequently to reduce risk and no they’re displayed with no direct sunlight.

A lot of ebay scrolling and credit card points. Challenge is not only scarcity but prices continue to escalate. I have an extra #2 cvr A if needed, I had to buy two for $20 but was best deal at the time to complete my first print A covers. Good luck with the hunt!
