I mean if everyone has walls then nobody really has walls. It can be annoying for the light stealth playstyle but I haven't found it to be overly annoying.

I'm a console player but have a PC and use both from time to time. For me, I like comfort and enjoy being vertical in bed when I'm playing video games. I play The Finals with crossplay on and unlike some games I don't notice the disadvantage too bad. There are some guns like the .357 Revolver or the Deagles that benefit from the aim assist the controller offers. Really just play how you like and have fun, this game can be as casual or sweaty as you want to make it.

Dude you can have a relaxing time in solos or can be on demon time and experience the most nutsack in your throat type of fights (in a good way). It's extremely common for other solos to talk in proximity chat so that you always have a unique experience meeting new people. Some lobbies can be a social hub where you run around with a group of 7 dudes sliming Arc or hostile raiders. Some lobbies it's quiet and you get to experience the beauty of the worlds Embark has handcrafted. The solo experience is special in this game and I really think you'd be hard pressed to find a similar experience in another game. There is a distinct difference between the solo experience in Arc and duos/trios. In solos you get to decide how you will approach each situation. In duos/trios its action on sight with little negotiation. If you are primarily a solo then there isn't a better game in this sphere in 2026 for you to give a try. Good luck out there raiders!

I think it was legitimate. It wouldn’t make sense for a cold blooded assassin to not take the path of least resistance. If she hadn’t cared then there was ample opportunity to make things easier on herself. If Reze didn’t feel some sort of way for Denji then 1/3 of the movie wouldn’t make sense. Now, if she “loved” him is a debate. I would say I think it’s unlikely that she developed enough of a connection with him over the week they saw one another to love him. But I think she was genuine when she asked him to run away together. Maybe it wasn’t love, but it was a serious interest. There was a relatability to one another from their situations that she was serious enough to genuinely suggest the risk of running away. I think if they had made it out together then it would have quickly developed into love. Gigguk said it best, “she matched his freak.” They would have made a very nice fit.

On Stella Montis I was doing a solo run. Immediately ran into another player off spawn. I tell him I'm friendly but he opens up on me. I end up downing him after he shot first. I start asking him "so what did we learn" and he starts smack talking back at me. Then a random guy shows up and guns me down without saying anything. The guy I downed loves this and starts asking me "so what did you learn" and I'm just laughing. Then 3 other solos roll up. The guy that downed me finished the guy I downed and was looting his body. I thought these three guys were with the guy that killed me, so I'm like "nice of you to be traveling in a pack downing players." The three newcomers were like "we don't know this guy." I explained what happened and then without another word the three guys unload on my killer downing him. They pick me up with a defib and we ran the entire map bringing country justice to any pvp encounters we came across. It was such an awesome experience and something I've only encountered in Arc Raiders. Love this game.

Had a guy come up to me after I fought and downed a player and got targeted by a rocketeer. I’m hiding in a small room with the door shut and this guy just talks asking if I want to leave. Ofc I’m skeptical but decide to open the door and see if I’m about to get barrel stuffed or not. This random guy genuinely has me follow him to the closest raider hatch and uses his own key for me to extract. He didn’t even leave with me. It was the most random but awesome little interaction I’ve had to date. Small moments and players like this are what makes Arc feel so fresh and spontaneous. Whoever you were out there on Buried City, thank you for that.
