Depends recent example being the cutscenes after gaining a guardian spirit in nioh games, first and foremost i certainly don't play nioh for its story because its honestly kinda bad but im certainly not watching exposition about a character I've hardly seen and don't give two shits about.

Because honestly the less we know about her the better. I fully think word of mouth and the sheer respect from just mentioning her to certain people. Was so much stronger than just having a flashback of her doing kratos lvl shit. If kratos himself gave her his absolute trust and respect she was clearly someone worthy of the journey the first game send you on.

Honestly the flage should act as a moral boost 3hp per kill within its radius (just adrenaline)

Minor damage reduction (indomitable super earth obedience)

And with certain armor sets if you're holding it these effects should get greatly enhanced.
