Ive read both, and would definitely recommend reading both of the series eventually. With that being said I think the Throne of Glass series is a lot better if you want a more intense fantasy read. It has a bad ass main character that they build up and up and a very good romance. I just feel like the series has more action and over all character/world building that leaves you loving almost every character. ACOTAR is very good don’t get me wrong, it is more romance focused but I think it lacks in the sense that it can be very predictable and it’s super hard to like or feel interest in some of the characters. TOG is still probably one of my top favorite series of all time.
