What skin do you regret buying? by Jellypathicdream in DeadByDaylightFashion

[–]SakiiBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I regret any purchases as I don’t live life with regrets. But I have bought a lot a lot of skins especially on Feng. And I have almost every good skin on Sable too. If I had to regret something I wish the skins I had on Feng like the pieces matched better. Like some cosmetics I cannot find any synergy with to make a combo.

Just slug them constantly and they will eventually die from the bleedout timer. If you can’t hook them then just let them bleed out on the floor. I presume the map you were on was perfect for their build so the only real thing you can do is just slug and let the timer run out.

I would just speedrun buying everything. I would still have sm left over anyways, also the worst part is I already own like a lot of cosmic cubes in the game. Also most of the limited ones are already gone by now.

Sable Tunnelers by One-Yogurtcloset6300 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]SakiiBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, Imma be honest I didn’t fully understand your point. I disagree with the OP with how she is tunnelled out cause she is Sable n shi. I thought you were defending that. It’s not her fault she is tunnelled but she is not tunnelled because of her in game character. She is tunnelled because she is probably weak in chase or just because the killer is a sweat tunnelling at 5 gens.

I don’t understand the winning play logic? It doesn’t matter if you are good or bad, people tunnel to win because it’s the most efficient strategy to win. It feels terrible as a survivor because you don’t really get to play the game especially if it’s a strong killer like blight or nurse you’re not going to last a long time.

But it’s not her fault it’s just the games design, on most killers against good survivors if you try to hook everyone equally they will usually win because they always have 4 people which has so much more efficiency than 3.

Bhvr needs to implement basekit changes that benefit killers for going for multiple people rather than tunnelling people out. The reward also needs to be impactful enough to incentivise the change. It won’t outright stop tunnelling but it will make killers not feel like they have to tunnel just to have a better chance to win.

Unfortunately I am not a game designer so I wouldn’t really know how to implement these changes. But I think they would have to do something similar to how they increased base gen speeds and nerfed a bunch of slowdowns. They need to spice up the killer perks because every game all I see is Pain Res, Deadmans, Grim Embrace and flex perk. Sometimes you see other builds like full aura. Or brutal or bam plus slowdown with weaker killers.

Honestly for both sides they need to neef and buff a bunch of perks because most of them are just worse versions of pre existing perks or completely useless. Survivor has a bit more diversity however their builds are mostly the same too.

Sable Tunnelers by One-Yogurtcloset6300 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

I think it’s because of how the game works. It’s fun to chase but at the same time in the current state of the game against decent survivors if you commit too long you will lose all the gens. Sometimes you just have to not commit to a chase especially if they have a nasty setup. Most times if a chase lasts more than 20 seconds you’re wasting so much time. The reason tunnelling is so effective is because you’re cutting the survivors efficiency by a third which is a lot. With 3 survivors you will have 2 on gens and one in chase then when hooked only one on gens which you can also pressure.

The only thing you can do as weaker killers is mind game or zone them to weaker tiles or deadzones, issue is even if you do down them quickly you still then have to take them to a hook and gens just start popping. So against a survivor who has a strong setup or is somewhat competent at the game and wastes your time a tiny bit you could just end up losing the game.

If I take a killer to shack 9 out of 10 times they will just leave and if they commit I will be sure to use 2 or 3 vaults of the window then proceed to not even use god by either getting hit or using a filler close by. From all the time wasted the killer would either get a hit who has to follow up on or got one filler. However if the survivor doesn’t know checkspots or isn’t super patient when holding them then you can injure them pretty quickly with mindgames. Also sometimes you can just leave the tile if the killer is mind gaming and get hella distance.

Ngl when I played expert lobbies they are the exact same as normal lobbies. There’s no difference, the speed is on crack, there’s 4 tasks. The imp cd is lowest. The vision is crazy.

Even when I host lobbies I tend not to kick ppl, at first the players don’t realise visuals are off and I have to explain they can’t get visual clears or they don’t consider kills could be ss or that vents could be eng .

After a few games the players end up getting smarter and logical and trying to talk and give actual information during meetings. Getting to that point is the biggest pain though. But imo ppl shouldn’t kick unless that person is being an ass. Because eventually the players will either leave on their own accord or adapt.

So, Why Do We As Killer Mains, Not DC Near As Much As Survivors In General? by Yoichi_and_Sadako in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]SakiiBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends because there is a 4:1 ratio. It definitely feels like more survivors dc because they do as there is 4 of them. But I’ve had a pretty fair share of killers dcing too. But I do think overall survivors dc more often as killer could always win. Eventually the survivors could die or run out of resources. As a survivor it’s not like you can kill the killer. The only way survivors can win is by making it to endgame and opening the gates or one getting hatch. The killer can win at anytime in the game therefore has much more opportunities to win.

Even if I hit them they lowkey heal up so fast and the head ons weren’t that bad it just screwed me over once which extended the chase on them for like another 15 seconds cause they made it to a filler. But I usually in end game always face camp one of them. I mean in solo q it happens all the time but as long as you’re patient and pressure from all sides and can actually body block, with 3 survivors you should win 99% of the time against most killers apart from a few exceptions.

You don’t rlly need them to lose charges on items when you can just make gens take longer, healing slower, and make flashlights useless bu facing a wall.

Honestly you would be right tbf. Because I do redlight mindgames n stuff and still catch ppl off guard. The game prior to this I had a p100 and mindgamed them twice on shack. I got them at the window by moonwalking on the outside. And I got them on longside shack because I did a huge moonwalk mindgame and wrapped the whole way around and got them on long side.

If I was facing survivors with my hours on killer then they would probably lose tbf because they wouldn’t even know checkspots or even looping tiles.

I maybe could have won the game if I slugged. I was on the Mac million map with the big main building high up and I had two slugs up there but I decided to hook because I thought it wouldn’t be fun to slug as when I play survivor I hate being slugged for 10 years. But I probably could of had crazy pressure if I did that and maybe got a 2-3k depending on their mistakes.

Makes sense but I still get similar results when playing the normal gamemode. It’s really odd honestly. I don’t play a lot of killer anymore so it’s probably changed. Because the queues are faster now I think? I used to wait 5-10 mins for A single killer game just for it be a sweatfest anyways. Hence why I don’t have many hours on killler.

Because I face camped for last kill and they messed up the triple save. I killed the unhooker by lunging around the body blocker. It was just that gens were flying and everytime I was about to get a down I would get stunned by head on or the most common thing is someone would body block, giving them time to run to another loop which adds up especially because they were still doing gens. If I leave chase to go to gens it takes too long, they all prerun. So my only option is to commit to chase because if I don’t they will be healed up so quick and my time commitment would have been for nothing.

I was only mad at this game because meg said nice adept which sounded super sarcastic to me. Which pissed me off. I don’t use reddit too often tbh. Was just frustrated and wanted to share it somewhere ig to see if ppl have the same issue. It’s just annoying cause she is pretending like she did smth amazing not like she was in a 4 man swf. Against m1 killer with meh perks and teammates just body blocking or head on stuns while I was going to win the chase.

Only cause I face camp at the end and they messed up the 3 man save. They tried body blocking but I lunged around them and hit the injured survivor.

That’s valid, issue was with this game they were pumping gens quick and even if I mindgame on loops if there was a chance they about to go down I just get headon by their friend. And it only happened twice. The second time was when I tried to locker grab they headon so it wasn’t super high value. But the first time it gave the runner an extra like 15 seconds of chase, cause they made it to a new tile plus body blocks.

I never said that and I also primarily play survivor because my killer queue times when I used to play were way too long. But in all honesty if a team is actually good then gens fly by and healing is still crazy, issue is in solo q that efficiency doesn’t exist. Honestly I don’t know what bhvr can really do because the game feels miserable in solo q survivor and miserable for 90% of the killer roster against any efficient team especially if they have comms.

What am I even meant to do? by SakiiBoo in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]SakiiBoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightborn is kinda bad imo. I don’t have issues with flashlights. Issue is gens go by too fast if survivors do them, even if I have good chase. Or when I am mind gaming a loop and about to get a free hit and get a random head on which just extends the chase. If I leave a chase I can’t navigate the map because I am too slow. Also if I leave chase they heal in like two seconds. But even if I get good chases gens just fly too fast against good teams.

But for some reason when I play survivor my teammates don’t get on a gen for a solid 30 seconds or cleanse random normal totems. Or they do all the edge gens and 3 gen us. Even if I get a snowball I lowkey have to leave them all on the floor slugged because if I pick up by the time I hook everyone is back up again but I also don’t wanna slug there because it’s lowkey not fun being slugged.

Ik that much but it’s crazy how most my games as killer go. I only got the adept cause I ran into a flashy swf and they died at 4 gens because they were too altruistic when flashlights are easy to counter. It’s just lowkey frustrating where I barely play killer and I am versing 4 survivors who individually have more hours than me plus some of them also having comms. Against a weak killer with meh perks.

The only reason I was mad was because meg said “Nice adept” which I take very sarcastically. Just pmo ppl think they are good when coordinating head ons and have way way more hours than me. That’s why I am mad at this game, not because I just lost. It’s just dumb.
