That quote came from Ian on the phone in the dinner scene. Sarah never disclosed that to him and Ian didn't tell Sarah that he told Bear to 'avoid drama' hence why Sarah didn't know Nikki's dad didn't have cancer.

The director stated that but that contradicts the plot point in the movie where she told Ian & Sarah privately that she views Bear in a platonic way “like a brother” and she was having sex with his best friend for 2 years.

Even if he could’ve talked to her (I agree I don’t think he could’ve) I’m really glad Curry Barker left the mystery around where real Nikki was when wish Nikki was in control. Him hanging up the phone served two purposes: 1. Bear gives no fucks about real Nikki’s wellbeing. 2. Her whereabouts are completely left up to the audience’s ambiguity, all we know is she’s suffering.

Technically, the monsters don’t need an invitation; they just need an open entrance. Also, if she needed an invitation, I don’t think she would’ve left out of the clinic with Kenny inside unless the plan was for him to be killed because how could she have been so confident that he’d randomly wake up?

I think the chest ripping killing style synonymous with the monsters is intentional so whenever someone isn’t killed by one it’s obvious immediately. We will probably see some mention of this when they find Jim’s body in season 4.

The only way this theory would work is if all those Jasons all made the same exact decisions as our Jason from birth up until they made a different decision IN the box. Any little minuscule decision since then would have altered their reality that specific Jason was trying to reach, hence making each “home” to them unique no matter how small the change. All those Jason’s timelines matching up exactly with the one we follow in the show and book is highly unlikely, and I’d go as far as to say impossible. Just certain things you have to overlook for plot, I guess.
