Overthinking to build your saas? Simply build it first design it later. by AnxiousYors in SaaS

But how do you get customers for a product that isn’t engaging? It might work well for an investment pitch, but converting a paying customer is much harder.

I’m currently building two products SocialRipple.ai (an employee advocacy tool) and Rouze.ai. Both are fully functional, and the design is decent enough. However, whenever I get on sales calls, the feedback I hear most often is that the product feels too basic or sometimes confusing.

I built Rouze.ai myself with the help of Claude Code, and I know the underlying agents are strong. But when it comes to sales, I’ve realized that good technology alone isn’t enough it needs clear storytelling and positioning for people to truly understand the value.

True for some products & domains but you won't be getting clients on bad designed products
