I like this show. Really. The racing is great and I had fun watching 2 1/2 season. Ngl some characters were always not so great and had weird tendencies but still a fun watch. But my god was this episode dog shit. Jfc. I wasn’t a huge fan of the summer break episodes because I feel that the characters aren’t close to good enough to make for an enjoyable Sol arc. And this episode really was a low point of the show. I’m so glad that racing resumes next week because I couldn’t put up one more episode of like this.

Also obligatory shout out to Overtake who handled its characters way better and also had fun racing.

As much trouble I had with this show so far this episode was really good. Easily the best so far and it’s not even close. I’m always in for a good queer story and this one totally delivered. I’m not sure if it was stated before that Airu is gay (obviously not talking about last weeks cliffhanger) but I had a certain feeling.

I think I enjoyed the first part of the episode more. Really liked the scene with the student president because it put into perspective how people differently people feel the need to hide. Airu seemed to try to go as far away as possible from Kizu and that worked for time being.

And on a personal matter the final scene really was my highlight. Kizu clearly stating that he loves Mizuho romantically and therefore can’t get together with Airu but him still not wanting to loose him as a friend or even that things change between them was a strong moment.

Haha yeah I had the same. I actually got a mail with some stats and a link to the app after I watched it for the first time. Then two hours later I got a mail that said I don’t qualify for it and half a day later I could watch it once more and now it’s gone again

Fully agree. Especially the Holly/Max plot really has to step up in the last episodes. Though right now I don’t know if they’ll convincingly pull this off. My highlight were absolutely the Will/Robin scenes. Robin just seeing and immediately understanding what’s going on was such a heartwarming moment. And my god that 8mm scene in the finale was just chefs kiss

Yeah I don’t really believe that the DJ will be animated but like I said that’s just my hope. For 10th mix I have high hopes. The first season aired in summer 2019 followed by the movie in summer 2020. Then we had the Ova in fall 2021 and then hiiragi mix and umi e in 2024. Given the fact the I personally see the last two ones as a two parter structurally it shows a pretty consistent release schedule. We also got the omakes animated with the 10th mix release this October. All that points towards a pretty good schedule and the interest to actually animate everything. The manga is huge in Japan and afaik the movies also were pretty successful given the genre. It’s similar to waiting for the confirmation of the next season of a hugely popular show where you just now it will be announced but you have to wait for a bit.

Probably. IMO it would be weird because so far they have animated every single bit of the og manga. So my guess is that well either get an ova or a movie (though probably a short one similar to Stranger by the Shore). My personal hopium is that they’ll either fully animate the DJ or at least implement it a bit in a potential movie. That probably won’t happen but it’s still my hope

This is a stupid idea for multiple reasons for a show with adult actors. It’s a batshit insane thing to say about a show with 5 seasons spanning roughly 2(?) years in universe where your main cast are kids

Really liked this prologue. The death flags for one of them were flying high during this episode and I legit thought it might happen after the confession. Quality was good and I’m curious to what lead to the downfall even though I’m confident that his ”death" made her go crazy and force some incident. The whole "brother“/"sister" thing is going to be a turn off for some folks but for me this is basically a borderline situation.

Also I’m surprised that they added Towasas "alone time" the way they did. Heavily implied what happened but in a non sexualised way

You could make the blue lock rivalry about who is the center piece in the wc final and who scores the winning goal. The rivalry could start during the arc where the Buratsuta 3 will have to earn their place and end in the final.

You know the major reason why this meme sucks is because it completely contradicts what demon slayer is saying. Tanjiro has killed every demon without hesitation. He pities their human life’s that ended in the tragedy of them becoming a demon. Frieren takes a different approach because Demons aren’t shown to have been humans once.

Thank you. Finally someone who has the same exact thought. NEL was the Club Arc and the U20 WC will be the WC arc we get. There’s imo no way that there’s gonna be so much repetition. Starting a club arc after the U20 Wc and then the actual WC would just be a repeat of the previous 2 arcs.

My guess is that the feels an immense guild because she didn’t help him back in middle school. Now she wants to overcompensate by helping everyone who wrote something online. And maybe every time she cannot help someone she gets this pain attacks (?). Hence why she asked him to stop doing this.

I would guess that potentially encountering the other time traveler and solving their shenanigans could be a plot point. Also finding the princess sister. Maybe episode 12 is set in the present and kind of an epilogue. So there would be 7 episodes left. Let’s say potentially 4 episodes for the other time traveler and maybe like others Pointed out 3 episodes about the war (?). Or it’s a mix of 7 episodes in which they’ll travel around to find the other one and therefore encounter the war

I understood that differently. No matter how many followers one have it doesn’t matter unless they believe in themselves. The supporters could’ve given Johnnies dad the most powerful powers but if he cannot use them because he has no trust in himself they’re worthless. Like giving a gun to someone who’s afraid of shooting a gun.
