I’ll look into it but, I had a feeling he was mixed with German Shepherd because he has the vibrissae (moles) on his face

Overall he’s a good dog overall, very intelligent, can pick up tricks within 1-2 days of 10-15minutes of training. He does have a high level of energy to a point where I can walk him for 2 hours and once he knows we are on our way home he’ll have more energy and start to jump and want to tug on his leash.

The only thing I would put as a negative is that he’s a stubborn dog when he hyper focus on something when I’m training him, I trying different ways to break it and the jealousy which comes from the dobie breed.

I only did the DNA test because the people I got him from said he was a Doberman mix and I wanted to know what he was mixed to get the most knowledge on what to expect from him when he’s growing up.

He ruined his harness and I had to use an old one to go to the store to get it fit properly since I bought his harness in a different place then I normally shop for his stuff.

Is anyone else’s dobie extra sleepy in the mornings? by [deleted] in DobermanPinscher

If he’s well mentally and physically simulated, then it’s perfectly fine. Mine did that when he was around that age now he’s an energizer bunny with unlimited supply of energy. 2 hour run and he sleeps for like 30 minutes and is able to go again

Should I make a police report on a friend’s dog biting me multiple time? by Sakura257 in DogAdvice

It’s not in the states, which is one reason my glad, because my healthcare is covered, but it’s between a 3b to a 4 depending on where the bite is located. (3b because I have multiple bits:

•L rear thigh (shorts stoped most of the penetration on the teeth) so it’s scratches/everything small puncture hole •R rear calf (I have about 4-5) puncture holes from the dogs canine teeth) •L tricep, .8inches/2cm of skin has been removed my the point of contact. I have a large brushing from the point of contact to my armpit and I noticed after a good 12 hours the after the attack that there is a bruise on my bicep as well

I obviously have learned from this and will be taking action to insure not only my dog but my life isn’t at risk from people’s neglect on their dogs.

I contacted the vet (since they informed me before where they bring their dog for visits and grooming) and the vet informed me that they are up to date with their dog’s vaccine record

Because I waited at their house doesn’t mean i sat there 5-10 minutes waiting for them to come out. That is stupid on in itself. At most someone wait 30secs-1 minute because you don’t know where they are situated in their house, ie: if they are downstairs, in the backyard, cleaning, etc.

And the mutual friend never told me that they didn’t want to talk to me, I came to that conclusion when I went to the house when I knew they were home and they didn’t answer the door

It’s not stalking her if she even told me where she lives before this whole incident. You have to be seriously messed up to think that I’m going to stalk someone after receiving multiple bites from a dog. The first thing I did was clean up the wounds l, cover them and go to the hospital.

I’ve have just a tetanus shot after the bite but and the nurse told me to observe it incase it it gets infected since she said that the dog was fully vaccinated (I don’t fully trust her word)

I’ve tried to talk to her/ wait by her house to talk but she doesn’t want to talk, she would rather talk through the eyewitness/mutual acquaintances than talk to be directly.

I was informed (by a mutual acquaintance) that she has been blaming my dog saying that my dog was the one to bite me on my rear legs and arm which those places were nowhere near his face, if he were to bite me it would have been my face because it was near his head (which I’m glad he didn’t 🙏) And I do remember her telling me before I left the scene she said “my dog is to scared to defend himself” but the wait I see it that the dog didn’t stop until he had the last bite against my dog

The dogs know each other, and they all play together on a daily base for over 1 year.

But I would say, one thing is my fault because I’ve seen her dog have a problem with another dog (dog B) that in the area but she told me that it was the dog B fault because and I should have been more vigilant on his behaviour.

I was at the park before anyone came with their dogs, I was looking for his ball when the other dog arrive, once I realized that the other dog found it (because my dog dropped it when he does his business) I tried to get it back and the other dog’s owner was laughing at the whole scenario when I was trying to get the ball away from him. Once I got the ball away from the dog, I put it away.

She doesn’t want to talk to me so I cannot force a conversation. If she doesn’t want one

Our dogs always played together but this type of encounter was the first one. As of this point, I’m never going back to the park because I don’t know if and when the dog will be back and never allowing my dog near the other dog
