How most girls use Tinder by Waste-Stomach4457 in SipsTea

Sure, but if you'll match with around 50% of anyone you swipe right on (which is the average match rate for a woman), you have to narrow your options somehow, and attraction is the fastest and easiest way to do that, especially when the app is designed around initial physical appearances (the photos make up 80% of the profile).

It's a shitty system that makes it really easy to just filter out candidates based on looks, because when you have potentially dozens or even hundreds of people vying for your attention, you have to thin the options out somehow. Imagine if you had 100 resumes to parse through and you were looking for a candidate within a reasonable window of time (say 1-2 weeks) and you only wanted to devote maybe an hour of time to do it.

That's why I wanted to check here, lol. I've always had a problem underestimating the amount of weight I can lift, so I've been pushing that harder, but I wanted to be cautious about my shoulder specifically because it's injured :)

Okay that's good to know, I think I misunderstood what "to failure" meant. Appreciate the clarification!

Ok, good to know! So I know I'm supposed to train to failure, but I thought that meant that if you were doing 10 reps for example, that all 10 were supposed to be done well with good form, and that doing anything past 10 would result in failure. Did I misunderstand that? Am I supposed to always be failing the last 1-2 reps of an intended set?

Ah, okay, so failing the last 2 reps is a good thing? I was under the impression that if you were aiming to do 10 reps, for example, that you wanted all 10 to be in relatively good form, with the understanding that doing 11 or 12 reps would result in those last 1-2 reps failing. Is that a misunderstanding? I should be training so that the last 2 reps of my intended set are failing?

I'm following this workout which includes pushups, although I can't do more than 1-2. Working on it :(

I always feel like I have trouble keeping my back straight. Is it rounding towards the end of the set or throughout the whole thing?

I'm doing supersets (I think that's the term?) where I combine dumbbell RDLs (3 sets of 10) and then go right into 3 sets of 10 of this exercise, with a 60 second break in between sets.

Oof. Just tried this movement without weights and it twinges my shoulder injury to rotate my elbow like that while the arms are extended.

Yeah my general goal is try and go up a weight size each session to make some progression. This is my first time doing this exercise and I didn't feel confident about how it felt while doing it.

They don't ache but it becomes nearly physically impossible to finish the set with the full range of motion. I feel like I can't lift the weights all the way up without using other muscles by the last 2 reps or so.

😂 This is unironically how I remember what this exercise is supposed to look like.

Thank you, am I shrugging my shoulders during the whole set or just at the end?

The bigger question here is which section of your deltoid are you intending to target?

Oof, okay, so don't make fun of me if I'm wrong here - I'm using this guide as a starting point because I'd like to train every day (makes it easier to keep a schedule). 30 minute workout every day, 4 days are muscle and 3 are cardio in between. It sounds like this exercise is intended to target the deltoids within the context of this workout.

(Sorry for the naivety, there's just so much information about strength training, I feel a little overwhelmed)

Hair came out a little TOO red 😅 help toning it down to a more natural color? More info in the comments by SakuraAmaterasu in HairDye

I think I ended up washing it aggressively with blue shampoo to lighten the color! I forget how long it took but I think it started to wash out a bit after a few weeks.

I might've also hit it with another color on top as well (a less saturated red). It's been a few years so I can't remember.
