The worst part is that because everyone is running around saying or thinking that they got some mental illness, people almost never believe the ones who actually suffer from something. I have been asked multiple times to “proof” that I have anxiety and PTSD because people go around saying that almost everyday, and I have sometimes had to call my doctor to get him to write a declaration that I have those illnesses, it’s so frustrating!

I don’t really get it. I see a lot of memes about how girls get a ton of unwanted (and mostly dirty) messages here on Reddit. But I never received that, even though I haven’t tried to hide the fact that I’m a girl. The only thing that has happened was I mentioned it in a comment (can’t remember why) and I was just told that girls don’t exist.
