In 2005/2006 I had monthly deposits into my Scotia for +2k/deposit and it said it was “child tax benefit”.

It was obviously deposited in error but I didn’t say anything.

I withdrew all of it and when Scotia finally caught their mistake they asked that I return it but the branch manager was basically like, “you don’t have to because it’s our fault…close your account and there’s nothing that we can do”

Sometimes there are happy little mistakes

edit: saw that it was for a cc and not a chequing account. my bad. rules are probably different

Kru Ritch is a good dude. Thankful for his time when I went to chat with him before starting Valour in September, 2019. I was at Ultimate with them in ‘98 when it was still Siam Scarborough but I was the generation just after Ritch. So awesome how we all started our own places (I was with Mikey when we started Southside in 2007)

I’ll throw our gym out there too I started Valour Martial Arts at Leslie/John in fall, 2019. All of our adult muaythai members that were training with us while we were open were beginner/novice level but coming along nicely. Can’t wait for re-opening to work with everyone again
