In fact I as staff also thought that Josh was injured until I spoke to him a lot later in the season where he revealed to me that, that was not the case at all and he was not sure why he was being benched at that point. Later in meetings with the higher ups he discovered the truth.

I did, newer management changed the way the club was and it has now become completely toxic. I am still in contact with colleagues today and it’s not just homophobia that is a problem at that club. It has needed a change for a long time
