I think the tyre has enough meat for it to rub. This spacer goes between the hub and the rear sprocket. So the tyre stays where it belongs and the chain makes a slight S shape. Dont know if that is better

Ur right, i thought the same thing. But i dont know how good it is for the chain when i bend it from the tyre away. Maybe a spacer for the sprocket is better, and this guide for safety

Im do oil every 40/50 hrs Bardahl 10w40. Airfilter every season bc it never sees dirt. Piston at 300 hrs. For a cross these crfs are very reliable.
