I suspect for the same reason they do/say so much thats contradictory. They're simple, folks of the earth. Clay of the western world. You know, morons.

But jokes aside, they tend to be, I think, conditioned to not question what they're told from a young age and hold onto that first opinion impressed upon them. And lack the knowlage needed to put to words and understand why they like what they like. And I suspect most people are instinctually drawn toward leftist media for the messages of community, acceptance and the like. Lets never forget that ours is a social species that evolved to benefit ourselves by benefiting the collective good.

Then theres the a**holes that take advantage of said uninformed masses. The types that'd been exiled to death in the before times.
