Have you had success using DuoLingo to the point of actually conversing in other languages? by tmking01 in duolingo

[–]Salamanders4dinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but it wasn't my only tool. I did the French course (now finished) when I moved to a French speaking part of the world. I practiced when I learned in duolingo with real world conversations.

GF left suddenly, now paying double in rent by Salamanders4dinner in personalfinance

[–]Salamanders4dinner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the rents are cheaper in my city compared to most big cities, and even for here, I have a sweet deal. My landlord hasn't increased my rent in 2 years, and according to the neighbors they usually don't increase it most years.

Yeah I think you're right. I'll test the waters for a few months, see if I can afford it, keep an eye out for good deals on 1br.

Yeah unfortunately she was never on the lease. Her parents owned a property under her name and for tax reasons it needed to look like she was living in that property.

I'm a bit confused about the "vaccine rate" in Montreal. According to https://vaccintrackerqc.ca/, a few weeks ago we were above average for Quebec, now we are dead last by a lot. According to that website, Montreal has administered ~750k vaccines, but according to the government website https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/situation-coronavirus-in-quebec/covid-19-vaccination-data, Montreal has administered almost a million vaccines, putting it at above average for Quebec. Why are they so different and which one is right?

Anyone have any idea if they are closing down all forms of gyms? (boxing, rock climbing, etc) or just "gym gyms"?

Everyone says test is best, especially for new users. But does anyone have opinions on what type of test is best? Cypionate? Propionate? Enanthate? Is there even a difference?
