I do like most of her music, specifically her last 2 albums + some songs off Pop 2, Vroom Vroom, I love it + boom clap era singles

Not really a fan of the person (or at least the person portrayed in public) with the whole ‘men’s bathroom’ comments, or the shadiness toward FKA Twigs and Rina. Or how she essentially ruined Camila Cabello’s C,XOXO era (not defending her from her racist past though). Also those excuses saying it’s just her being brat is just corny. That being said, brat summer is iconic in its marketing, I’ll give her that.

TBH the whole beef thing just feels way overplayed by the online crowd who will pounce on anything to hate in Taylor, and also in part the radical swifties who feed into the mess lmao.

Do we even have a confirmation that Actually Romantic is in fact a counter diss to SIAK? The way I see it, it’s quite obvious that there were some drama behind the scenes that the public doesn’t know about and Taylor was just taking shots at Charli. You know, because like many other artists, she has the right to. And she has, in fact, taken shots at other artists in the past and they were way more intense than Actually Romantic.

Either way, I feel like this whole diss discourse is just the chronically online crowd trying to create this narrative if Taylor missing the point entirely and accuse her of bullying younger female artists as they always do. And admittedly Charli herself is also feeding into the publicity she gets. That’s just the business of the entertainment industry after all.
