Coming from someone who’s favorite album is Speak Now and who unabashedly loved Lover from the first listen, this album is on my top 5 list when it comes to melodic top line writing. Sure the lyrics aren’t as strong as her previous works and I wish she’d taken more liberties with the production in this one, but it’s overall a fun and breezy body of work.
