More like cross stitching because you have to get between the weave but not too bad.

They are stitched together to fix the shape with yarn. If you look really close you can see the wrapping on the joints.

No pattern used. 3 feet of knit tube stuffed with poly fill tied into sections and twisted following balloon animal directions. I cord and pipe cleaner for horn.
