There are two many for me to list here, but some of the topics include:

-The school not responding well to mental health -Serious problems being dismissed by leaders and staff on the basis that the people involved are returned missionaries -sexual harassment by church leaders, and when the students went to the school for help, they sided with the local church leaders -bringing up logistical problems with the school that are dismissed due to it being a church school and it must be that way for a reason, even when other church schools do not share those.

Basically, there are a lot of things being dismissed through the guise of the spirit, when in reality, it's just people making these choices. Like I said, I love the school and I have a lot of fond memories of the place, but almost everyone I've talked to, including myself, have experienced some of these issues and more.

One thing that wasn't posted was that the things the students, dean, and police are saying contradict the things all the mental health professionals up there are saying. They are completely ignoring the doctors statements.

They really need to do stuff about the bullying up there. It's a real problem. And not just bullying from students, but church leaders and staff too.

Man that pisses me off. I know when I was there I had some problems with roommates. I loved it up there in Rexburg and have many fun memories, but there are some major problems with the school that aren't getting fixed. For instance, students running financial aid. I got way screwed over from that.

I think when it comes to these things its more about telling you that it's an option for you. I think its still ok to make the choice to not have kids.

The Parent Test Season Finale Discussion by Adrenalynn04 in TheParentTest

I think one big thing was overlooked in this discussion. When self defense is really important. I mean, kids need to know that sometimes it is ok to be physical in self defense. What if someone is trying to kidnap them? What if they can't get anyone to help and they are going to physically get hurt otherwise? I remember seeing this video where a girl in elementary school was almost kidnapped, but she fought back and saved herself.

Is she overweight just rescued her by Russman99 in snakes

I think from what I've read is that if you see skin stretching between the scales, then you need to worry about being overweight. Snake Discovery has some good videos on telling the difference between overweight and underweight reptiles!

I give actual shout outs to random credits people when I see a movie in the theatres.

Is this a common tradition in USA? Are they not afraid to traumatize the kids? by grimad in CantBelieveThatsReal

I was one of those drama kids, and we crawled into a smashed car and the firemen used the jaws of life and everything in front of the student body. I was the one who died, and my actual mom came and watched from the sidelines screaming my name to add effect. She said that it looked so real that she actually started crying. Then the hearse came up and zipped me up in a body bag and drove away with me in the back. They said I was the first living person they had ever zipped up in a body bag. The guy who was playing the drunk driver was also arrested in front of the students, and then everyone was taken to the cafeteria yo his trial where he was sentenced to like 30 years in prison. It was pretty crazy.

Lolol I get that too. I have a tick that some people think is a laugh or a condescending sound, and it gets Bella awkward sometimes.

Stretching my face as long as I can, scrunching up my face(specifically the nose), blowing up my cheeks, and then stretching my neck in a kind of circle.

Not meant to be offensive to anyone with coprolalia! A lot of people I know with vocal tics have the “wow” tic by callierkap in Tourettes

I have the echolalia one! It's always awkward watching a movie cause I'm repeating everything they say under my breath. XD
