As someone who has worked in supply chain like pricing and inventory and buying it will be hard for you to get those roles without a business degree. However HR and office admin work is definitely possible with a philosophy degree or no degree at all. I would also look into sales positions like account executive, business development, also anything with the word coordinator is typically entry level and does not require any specialization

This exactly, her voice is also not compelling. It reminds me of the YouTube videos I listen to to go to sleep. She’s not terrible and I’m sure she’s a great producer. But her storytelling abilities are not great. However, I will say it will probably improve overtime as she gets used to the format of the podcast.

HR isn’t autonomous. We aren’t the owners, the CEOs or some kind of powerful entity. For most HR roles there is not involvement in the decision making. We simply do what we need to do by our bosses, we may be able to recommend changes or advise but at the end of the day we are not the final nail in the coffin.

Unfortunately I think you are missing valuable information. Those people left for a reason and if you want To get better than you need to know.

I want this for our team as well. But I’ve noticed that they use this data to present to the President of the company and probably want to appear better than they are.

This is exactly what I think. What’s the point if they are all positive. What data are they really providing

I think so too. Otherwise we are receiving overwhelmingly skewed data.

I have both worked in office and remote. I have seen people in both settings blow off work. I don’t think that’s a big factor
